I'm New Here
May 24th, 2006 at 2:54pm

Hi My name is Jax. Right now my hair is touching my shoulders when dry longer when wet. Up till 4 years ago my hair was also long (BSL) so In my heart I am still a long haired girl and I am working on my physical hair match that. My hair is brown with red highlights and it is curly. 3a but naturallycurl.com's scale. My hair dries out or gets weighed down easily so I have to be really careful about products I use.
My name FaeDreams has to do with my extreme obsession with faeries. I love fantasy books and movies. I'm always in the middle of 2 or 3 books, one is always a fantasy. I love irish and celtic music, real countr (not the pop-musicy country though) and Dave matthews band is my ultimate favorite.
As soon as I can i will put a link into pix of my hair in my profile!
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to Longlocks, Jax.  I look forward to seeing a pic of you hair-it sounds gorgeous!!!
Have you tried Ouidad's products?  I'm a wavy girl and am having super results with this line of products made just for curlies.

See you 'round the boards!

Okay, It doesn't have to be old country just real and not pop like. Like I like nickel creek's "when in Rome" and I like some others, I'm at work now so  I don't have time to list. But I don't like that "honky tonk ba donk a donk" or whatever the heck its called. And not a fan of Shania, trying to make it glamourous and trendy really bugs me. Whenn i have time I'll post others!

Welcome aboard, FaeDreams!  Smiley

Your hair sounds pretty. Are your red highlights natural or do you have them done professionally?

I love Celtic & country music, too. Real country...not the glitzy pop crap.  Wink

Look forward to your hair pix. Best of luck and happy growing.
