Troubled hair
Jul 18th, 2006 at 11:24pm

Hey, I was wondering if any of you might know how to help my hair. Ever since i was about twelve, the hair around the temples of my head has gotten incredibly curly and dry and frizzy. I have been trying to grow it out, but it is so dry it just keeps breaking off, and going back to the same length, which is about to my jawbone.  i hate it because it is difficult to style my hair. do you have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Dry hair needs moisture and careful handling.  Using conditioners on this area could help to improve the moisture in the hair.

Make sure you are being very gentle with your hair.  Combing/brushing the hair when it is wet can cause breakage.  Pulling the hair too tightly into ponytails or buns can also cause breakage.

I hope this helps.

The hair around our faces is the most fragile of anywhere on our heads because of its location.  Personally, I recommend Ouidad's Deep Treatment.  My dry, damaged wavy hair has really become beautiful from using the treatment every 2 weeks.  You can find it at www.ouidad.com

Good Luck!!!
