I'm around 5 ft, 7.5 inches and am short waisted so, measuring alone with a metal ruler (oh yeah, everybody at work thinks i'm crazy), I'm also coming up with around 6 inches. So assuming a half-inch amount of growth per month should put me at WL hair around December of next year. Gee, that's not as long as I thought! Cool

Now I can make my new ticker!

When everyone said 6" I'd gotten so excited, but for me it'll take an extra 8 or 9 inches of growth, definately not 6. Sob... Sniffle Or, maybe I'm not sure where waist length is...I'm thinking it's at the navel?? Is this right??

If I go from the top of the bra strap, it's 7. So just where are we supposed to measure from & to?

I'm 5'4", but extremely long-toroed (yes, there are people with a 26" inseam, I'm one of them. Undecided

) and from the bottom of my bra-strap to the waistband of my pants is 7 inches.

And these are some high-waisted pants - if I was wearing 'normal' pants, it would probably add another 2 inches.

Wow - that means when I chopped off all my hair, it was about 38". Shocked
