Hello all. I am 24 and have been absent mindedly growing my hair out for over 3 years now. I have recently decided to grow with a purpose. I feel sorry for my very neglected locks and would like to make it up to them. I have just above waist length hair right now and I would like it to be a little longer and healthier and happy. I have naturally sort of Chestnut color but i have color damage I was even a blonde once. I am hoping to grow that out so I have not dyed my hair any color in over 2 years. I would like my hair to be natural. My hair is thin in regards to each strand and thick in regards to I have quite a bit of it. I have wavyish hair which takes on a fair curl when lubed by product and scrunched and straightens pretty good when I blow-dry however a bit frizzy and dry looking. I know it is a big no-no to blow-dry however I do like how pretty it looks straight but I do not always like the condition it comes out with. Since i have found this forum I have been on a mission to cut out all of the split ends I can find since that idea just never occured to me before and already I think it feels and looks alot better. I am proud of my hair and looks I get when I wear it down (shock and awe). I would like to try coffee staining it in hopes the more color sapped sections will even out. Also, oiling the tips. Just Conditioning when I wash, and deep conditioning over night (which I have done before but never to my own hair). I would appreciate any advice. I am aiming for healthy beautiful tresses.
