My hubby will be undergoing surgery on his back this Thursday, January 11.  Two bad discs in his lower spine will be removed and replaced with "spacers".  Titanium screws (possibly a rod, too?) and a bone graft will help everything fuse together, giving stability to that area.  He's, well, WE have been struggling with this problem for 3 years now, so I'm praying that this surgery will provide him much needed pain relief. 
     Would all of you please keep us in your thoughts and prayers?  I would dearly appreciate it.  Thanks!
