Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I didn't have much celebration - which suits me just fine. Hubby bought me a boulder opal to wear as a necklace - I LOVE it! I'm not much for jewelry, so this fits my personality perfectly. We ate at Chipolte (free buritos/tacos with a prior receipt - it was tax day!) I had to work most of the evening to get ready for a business trip I'm leaving on today. My son and his wife dropped off flowers - such sweeties.

Hubby and I did do a bike ride on Sunday - my first outdoor ride of the season. It was a beautiful day and it felt wonderful! Earlier on Sunday my DIL helped me learn how to make some simple jewelry pieces that I will use as stitch markers for my knitting. (That was her gift to me - time together and her helping me Cheesy

).

I have plenty of wine to go around - help yourself - today's special is a nice merlot (goes great with chocolate cake!)

I know I'm getting old - I am now starting to get senior citizen discounts without asking for them. Tongue

It is strange, because I don't feel that old. In my mind I am 25. My body tells me differently. Such a dichotomy!
