Here we are in May already!!! Are flowers and trees in bloom wherever you are? Let's hope that as the flowers grow and bloom we all have nice hair growth during these warm months!

Curlgirl64,
I forgot to mention a lot of "blooming" is going on here now too! Maybe my hair will take a hint and grow a foot or so!

Blah. Spring hit us in February.
And unfortunately, it looks as if the "blooming" season is over for my hair. I'm at 24¾" this month...only ¼" progress from last month. *sigh*
Of course, I'm one of those backwards types whose hair grows faster during the colder months. With the weather warming up, the growth has slowed down.

Angel Spun,
You are not alone. I had only about 1/4 inche this month too! I guess my hair grows better in the winter as well.
My yard is so pretty right now. A lot in bloom!

Thanx for the reassurance, guys.
It's just a bummer after growing ½" every month this year to have Nature suddenly hit the brakes. I was really looking forward to having a full 25" before the big trim on Sunday, but I guess it will still be ok. I'll get to reach both of my short term goals all over again in a few months. Something to look forward to, right?

wow. Um, I don't know what to say about this one. Even after the trim April 24, I was at 28'' almost exactly. Now, i'm at 27 3/4''... It Shrank 1/4 inch! Angelspun, did you steal my 1/4 inch?
j/k. yeah, bummed about that one. I don't think it's normal for hair to shrink when it's not seen scissors, right?

LOL
Sorry, Kiraela, but I lost ¼" of the normal growth too. If I had stolen yours, I'd be at 25."
Perhaps your hair was wavier when you last measured it than when it was trimmed? Stylists will pull the hair straight while they're trimming so the ends will be even, so perhaps your waves were pulled straighter when you measured afterwards. Now they're just doing what they do naturally. Just an idea.

Actually, that might be it! I'll let you know next time I let it air dry without braids(today, probably).

I'm still at 21-1/2". I'm suspicious that last month the measurement is off. I have a trim on the 15th of May. I hope to have only 1/4" taken off.
