Crazy weather.....
May 14th, 2007 at 2:45pm

OK, I live in Minnesota where extreme ranges of temperatures are a fact of life.  Our winters are COLD and our summers are sultry.  We accept this, we embrace it, we deal with it.  HOWEVER..... we don't expect the full range to occur IN ONE DAY!!.

Saturday, I woke up to 50 F (10C).  A bit chilly out and in fact our furnace tried to kick in more than once.  By 6pm the temp was 94F (about 35C)!!! Shocked  Good thing I was dress in layers and wearing my zip off pants to do my outside work.  The winds were blowing hard out of the south (which is why it got so warm).  Today the high is supposed to be 90F again, but tomorrow's high is predicted to be 65F (about 20C).

I feel like I am on a weather roller-coaster.  Tongue

I left work this afternoon on my bike - the temp was 91F.  I met hubby part way home and we biked part of a trail before heading home.  28 miles later, the temp is 78F!  The winds were gusting to 35mph - it was a very interesting ride home.

crazy, crazy weather.
