Aug 27^th, 2007 at 3:04pm I'm hoping that the fire in Greece is not affecting Greek Lady. Boy, it seems there are an awful lot of disasters lately - both natural and man-made. For those of you who are not aware of the fire, here is a link to an article.

Thank you for your concern. Yes, me and my family are OK, thank GOD for that! We were lucky to escape, as we had three fires in my area this summer and the last one, a week ago was as close as five roads away from my place.
It has been very bad all over Greece, though. People have died horribly and this total waste of human lives is very very sad and bitter. My country is poorer in natural resources and this will affect at least two or three generations to come. Yes, it has been bad.

Again, thank you for your concern. I hope time and God (or whatever you people believe in) will help us heal.
I am sorry for the sad note.

I'm glad you are OK, Greek Lady. Yes, it is a shame that the natural resources are affected in such a dramatic way. Time and nature will heal this ugly scar on your beautiful land. I'm not as familiar with the lands around you, but here, when a forest burns, it is facinating to watch its rebirth. I hope that you can eventually see that beauty and enjoy it as well.
