Grandma's long hair

Hi all,

I don't know if you remeber me telling you about hubbies swedish grandma who hair floor lenght hair?  I asked for a picture and finally got it!

...
This picture was taken in 2000.  She cut it to tail bone length!  Mind you she was over 90 and look it not grey, top was grey.  Here daughter use to care for her and would do her hair.  I think she washed it once month and wore it in updo.  She was a teacher in a one room school house and was still driving till she was 95!  Cool grandma!  I never met her and wish I had but what can you do? Roll Eyes

Edited by Bikerbraid to correct the image tags so we can all see grandma!

My grandma had long hair and usually kept it in a thick braid until she was put in a nursing home and they majorly chopped it Sad

I do know there are pictures of her short hair but I am not sure if there are any pcitures of when her hair was long.

Huh Thats a whole other kettle of fish best not opened.

WOW!!!  Most excellent grandma.  My grandmother lived to be 90, had thigh length very thick gray/brown hair.  I got her hair genes.  She also had to cut her hair when she went into her living facilities.

I think long hair on old women look so elegant and beautiful. I will never have that ugly, short perm that some women seem to think is mandatory for those over fifty...   Tongue

And I'm swedish and my great grandma had classic lenght hair and runned the family business 'til she died, at the age of 94. I want to be like her, haha.  Wink
