Another job down the drain

Yep! I was informed yesterday(wednesday), that this friday will be my last day Sad

. At least I got a warning it was going to happen and I am getting 40 hours pay. This job lasted 6 weeks this time. I am sooooo disappointed tho. Seems like I am getting nowhere fast in the employment line. I do have enuf money to pay the bills for October, so I know God has a plan. I am looking for full-time regular, but all I have been able to get is full-time temporary.

Deb--I'm so sorry. The last company I worked for went out of business 8/4. I've been lucky and found something rather quick, but I no longer think about 'if' I'll be laid off, but rather 'when'. Its the nature of the beast in my industry. Always sucks though. Good luck--I hope you find something you like even better (and very quickly!)

Well---I went to work expecting it to be my last day, and lo and behold, not only am I going to work next week, but I got a RAISE!!!! Happy dance here. My supervisor didnt even tell me I was getting one. Now I wonder if it was even me she was going to lay off. Ummm---I am not so sure she is with it this week. Maybe it is good that this friday. So-I am ready for a particularly good evening..
