I tried one of their frozed dinners and got violently ill from it.

Trisha does the low carb lifestyle, with great success.  Maybe PM her for info?!

I think anyone even thinking about going on any diet should go to a doctor and/or nutritionist because they are paid to know things some people might think they know.

Most people go on diets thinking it is going to be easy and not take very long but they are very wrong Shocked

And some think all it is is the kinds of foods they eat forgetting that exercising plays a very big part in it too.

I wish you lots of luck and I hope you reach the weight goals you might have for yourself Cool

Sakina (((hugs)) I am so sorry that happened. Embarrassed

I agree with Jerry, go to the doctor and see what he/she has to say.  My doctor gave me a diet sheet  to follow that was suited form my medical situation.

I don't follow the South Beach diet specifically, or use the products, but I do live a low carb lifestyle.  This May will be 2 years.   Smiley

Usually the best plan is just to eat smart and everything in moderation.  The problem I have with the prepackaged foods is the amount of preservatives and processed ingredients.  They are usually high in sodium (salt) as well.

Checking with your physician or other health professional for their opinion is highly recommended.  Although they may not be the most knowelegable on the latest fad diet, they can help you by discussing what your options are and to make sure you don't have any special health needs that should be taken into consideration.

Good luck!
