Bella's Growing Pains...
Feb 12th, 2008 at 4:45pm

Hi everyone!  I am new to this site and thought this would be a great way to chart my progress. I am currently at 16.5 inches. I was 3 inches longer, but chopped! I had a pixie cut 2 years ago in April. My goal is BSL for now. Hopefully I can get some old pics if I can just get into my photobucket account! I have to use DD's laptop for now as ours broke and we are in the process of getting a new one, so please forgive the lack of pics and such! Embarrassed

So recently, I have been no cones, I am thinking of using cones again. My hair likes both. I am also not coloring, trying to grow out my virgin color which is actually blending in nicely with the dyed color. It's rainy and yucky here- don't want to go to the Dr's later on! Maybe I'll cancel the appt. and reschedule until next week. Maybe...

I am so flattered, thank you so very much!!! Most of it is colored, but my natural color is a dark blonde that I am trying to let grow in for the first time. Your hair reminds me of my friend who joined with me, she has classic length- like 46 inches or something and is red- but she is letting her natural color grow in- silvers and all!

DD is home sick today, so not much going on. I slept most of the morning due to not sleeping more than 3 hours last night. By the way, I am new to this board so for reference- DD is 14 and DS is 7. DD has softball practice tonight and I feel bad for her but she really has to go, this is only the 2nd practice of the season, we'll see how she feels later on and decide if it's worth it or if she should stay in bed. She is an honor roll student so I don't worry about her missing school too much. Smart cookie!

My hair is up in a leather slide I bought- also known as a skewer barrette. It's a french twist as usual. I canot wait until the length grows back that I chopped in December. I regretted it almost immediately. But you cannot change the past only learn and apply it to the future!

Oh, wow - those are absolutely beautiful styles. Okay..big newbie question here, forgive me... May I ask how you achieve them? I have never put my hair up before that way... I've only used ponytails (which is a habit I'm going to try to kick as my hair grows out).

Wow, those updos look great!    It looks like you and I are at about the same length, how do you manage to make such pretty little buns?  I second Astraea's request for how-to's  Grin
