Blast from the past!
Mar 16th, 2008 at 1:16pm

I was transferring pictures from an old laptop to our server and ran across this very old picture of me, my hubby and our first dog.  This was the first time I had grown my hair long after high school.  (And when hubby had hair as well!)

Any guesses on the year/decade of this picture?

Pretty collie!

I'm guessing late 60's.

So, hubby has no hair now?

I would guess early '70's. It looks like a lot of the pix that my mother has from that era. Her hair was long & straight like that back then too...but hers was waist length.
You were cute just like she was, BB.  Smiley

Good guesses!  The year was 1975!  Hubby has very little hair anymore.  It was thinning even back then.

Sorry, BB, I just typed what came to my mind.

Instead of feeling verry verrrrrry old, I think you can feel verry verrrrrry wise.

Fun!!  Thanks for sharing that.  That shirt your husband has on looks like some of the stuff that was hanging around our house at the time.   Smiley

I was thinking nice suntans.  Were you already biking back then?

We were biking, camping and spending LOTS of time outdoors.  We lived in a farmhouse that had a 20 acre holding pond, so swimming was almost a daily activity.  The house was pretty crummy so we spent as little time in it as possible.  Grin

Oh my gosh!  You both look like teenagers!   Cheesy  Have you always had long hair as an adult?  It is funny but I can't remember if I ever knew your hair history, BB.

Well, BP, we were youngsters when that was taken - but we were in our early 20's.

As an adult, Ive had both long and short hair.  I had it long until just before my son was born, then it was short until he was in high school, when I grew it out again.  I guess I felt I couldn't handle the challenges of kids and long hair at the same time.  I'm not sure I still feel the same way now, but that was my reasoning at the time.

That sounds familiar now.  Yep, a teenager and long hair at the same time can be too much to deal with.   Roll Eyes
