A new month begins. I'm bidding farewell to spring at about 26¼."  Makes it a ½" gain for the month of May.

Anyone else?

LittleLuc, I can't wait until my hair is the length your length but 24" seems a mile away at 15 1/4".

May measurement was 14½".

Bad month for Moe's Hair

I have been waiting for good measurement on my length. Undecided

I asked my teenage daughter do the honors, to which she whined, "But I just measured your hair last month."

After several tries where the tape measure seemed to wind around my head  rather than go over the top, we finally got one that seemed to go more or less over the top of my head. I thanked her very much for all her help and accepted the number she gave me. Needless to say, I am sure it may not be the most accurate number but then things will all average out in the end.  Roll Eyes

Last month the length of my hair was 27.3" and this month it is 27.5".
So, there is some growth.

Oh, how I mistreated my hair this month.
I am so embarrassed.  Embarrassed
I did something I swore I would not.
But I did.
I colored it.
It is falling out like I have not seen in a very long time.
My husband wanted me to go lighter. It was his birthday. I gave in. You know how that goes. He wants my long hair AND blond  it used to be... NOW!

But the real kicker is I picked up the wrong box.  Shocked
My hair is now the color my my it has been growing naturally. You know, the roots.  Grin

So.. this could be good.
I will take care of it... and when it calms down I will slowly lighten it with chamomile.
Not to much. Just here and there. Just to give it highlights.

My poor hair. Cry

.75" in a month? That is great.

So is that with getting a trim?
I seem to remember you were thinking about going to your hairdresser.
Or are you going to wait a bit longer?

HAAHAHAAHAAAHHHAHAHAHHHAAAA!!!  Yipeeee!!  I am creeping back to fingertip already.  I was sitting on my favorite pew in church yesterday, and the ends are curling on the pew again.  This is exciting altho I am still not planning on measuring until Oct 1.  This means I am close to regrowing the 1 1/2 in I cut off back in May.  When I do my measurement, I will only measure the growth and not add in what I have cutoff.  Does that make sense??

Congratulations, everybody!  I don't know if my mom has a flexible tape measure, so I plan on measuring in July when I'm back home.

Moew27, I suggest adding calendula to your chamomile rinse for your color lightening.  Good Luck!

Calendula...  Okay... thanks

Is that what you use?

I have to go shopping for calendula and plant it so I will be able to dry it and have enough to last me for the winter.

Thanks so much!
