On tuesdays and fridays, I come over to the church to clear messages from the phone.  So, today I come over and the 1st message is from a man who has been putting signs up all over town accusing our church of abuse.  Because we have a school (enrollment is up this year), he has been putting the signs within a 1 block area of the playground.  He said some very nasty things to our pastor like, reporting us to the police saying we now have a record, he has reported us for abusing a family who has chosen to go to a differant church.  He also said he has made every pastor in town aware of what kind of people we are.  He also said he knows about our new youth pastor.  I was soo upset listening to that message, I began to cry. He called my pastor a coward!  The whole thing was just vile.  To my and  my pastor's knowledge, he has never been to our church.  So, pastor and I prayed for him and left him in Gods hands.

Pastors comment was....If God doesnt want us here, God will remove us.  Which is true.  If what is being preached is wrong, God will remove the preacher.

Sorry to hear all this. I hope things get better.

Obviously this person is very upset about something and feels the need to tell everyone.  It is always upsetting when false claims are made against people we know and respect.  I'm sure it is a situation where they have only partial information which was misinterpreted.  Pray that they will find peace with themselves and no longer feel the need to attack your church and personnel.
