Hair Stopped Growing
Sep 9th, 2008 at 5:21am

My hair has been at 28" for months now.  I gather its all the stress I am under that has paused the growth?   I have started bac on my biotin and silcia gel last month and I know they take time to work. Any advise would be great. Cool

My only advice is hang in there and stick around LL for support of course.  Wink My hair had been stuck at 26" for several months as well then when I measured this month I discovered it had started growing again.  Smiley Stress could be a contributing factor, because stress is readily known to have effects throughout the body so hair is probably included. So try to relax, and if you don't already, I hear scalp massages helps stimulate hair growth. That and the biotin, but who wants to wait six months.  Roll Eyes Good luck!

Hang in there!  It is not uncommon for hair to "rest" for extended periods of time.  (Mine has been resting for about 6 months  Angry ).  Stress can certainly have an effect, although typically stress is a cause for thinning hair more than stopping growth.  Take your vitamins, do scalp massages and don't measure for a while.  I'm sure it will start growing and be glorious when it does.
