HELP!
Feb 8th, 2009 at 6:17pm

Okay so I understand the wheather is all over the place but my hair has been super dry, stringy yet oily at the scalp for two weeks now!I don't wash my hair everday and everytime i use a ACV wash it makes my hair even more stringy.
I'm using Biolage normalizing shampoo and Biolage detangling solution.
But I have a sneaking suspision that's what is making my hair so bad right now not just the wheather.

Should I switch to Herbal Essence long hair stuff?I've been wanting to try it.Will it be okay since my hair is onyl 23 inches long?(APL almost BSL)

It sure sounds like your current conditioner and possibly shampoo are what might be causing your hair challenges.  Although you are doing ACV rinses, the conditioner might be building up on your hair.  A change in routine might help you out.

You should try a lighter shampoo/conditioner, without cones perhaps.
The weather is all over, but the cones might be keeping any moisture at all from getting into you hair.

That has been happening to my hair, too!  I cut back my products severely, going back to shampoo/conditioner with no leave ins, did an ACV rinse, and that helped.  I also started using a lighter conditioner, so there's no cones in my routine (for now).

Some good examples of light conditioners are Suave or V05 - both are also cone free.
