Goody Products Names Richard Marin as Creative Consultant and Spokesperson

The Nation's Hottest Hairstylist Joins

The Most Trusted Brand in Hair Accessories

ATLANTA, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Goody Products, Inc. announced today that top celebrity hairstylist Richard Marin has signed a multi-year contract to serve as Creative Consultant and Spokesperson for the brand.  A leader in the beauty industry for years, Marin has created hairstyles for Hollywood stars like Cindy Crawford, Lisa Kudrow, Jodie Foster, Salma Hayek, Julianna Margulies and Britney Spears.  Marin's work has been seen in elite fashion magazines such as Rolling Stone, Vogue, InStyle, Vanity Fair and Allure, and top National advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola, Maybelline and Tommy Hilfiger.  Goody Products and Richard Marin will come together in one of the most synergistic partnerships in the industry to create styles and trend- setting products that are sure to achieve worldwide attention.

Marin was instrumental in helping to design Goody Products' Spring 2003 collection -- a natural extension due to his expertise in the fashion and beauty category.  "As creative consultant and spokesperson, Richard is helping to keep Goody at the forefront of hairstyle trend development.  His creativity and extensive knowledge of the fashion and beauty industry provide the inspiration behind many of our new products.  Goody's trusted reputation for quality hair accessories and Richard's hairstyling expertise make this the perfect partnership," remarked John Andrews, Senior Brand Manager, Goody Products.

Last fall, Goody Products unveiled eight exclusive looks, styled by Marin, which were highlighted in the "Goody Bag," a promotional sampling of products with a step-by-step instructional booklet showing consumers how to re-create the styles using Goody accessories at home.  "I am honored to have the opportunity to partner with such a respected brand in the industry.  I have been using Goody products and accessories to style hair for years, so it makes perfect sense for us to come together to collaborate on new ideas for trends moving forward," commented Richard Marin, Creative Consultant and Spokesperson, Goody Products.

Goody Products and Richard came together Hollywood-style in September of 2002 to host a style suite for the 54th Annual Emmy Awards.  Marin and his team of stylists created looks using Goody products and accessories for producers, editors, stylists and celebrities alike.  Marin created a camera- ready Emmy hairstyle with Goody products for Friend's star Lisa Kudrow's walk down the red carpet.  Also, Goody Products and Richard Marin have partnered in an effort to raise awareness about Locks of Love, a charitable organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children who suffer from medical hair loss.
