ACV vs White Vinegar
Aug 18th, 2005 at 3:22am

I generally use white vinegar for my after conditioning rinse but since so many people here use ACV I tried it instead.  My hair has not reacted well, it seems more dry, and my dandruff came back.  Any thoughts on this?  Both vinegars were 4% solution generic brands.

Ihave no explanation for this but I have to admit I experienced the same thing, to a degree.  My scalp and hair seem happier with regular white vinegar.

I have heard others make the same comment.  I'm afraid I have no explaination either.  But as Gabi says, if the white vinegar works for you - stick with it!
