I'll let ya know when it comes and I try it!
You know how it's said that every 7 years your hair changes?  Well, either I need a serious 4 inches off or my hair is changing!  My curls are not as tight as they were years ago,but when frizziness occurs it's not purty!! Roll Eyes  I'm hoping that the combinations are a shock (a good one) to my hair.  I know (dreading) the chop that I'll probably do myself.  Soon.......................... Roll Eyes

The weight of your hair might be the culprit.  Is your hair all one length?
If you're interested, you could get a curlygirl haircut.  It would involve adding a few layers to bring out your curl.  Its a dry cut method and I love it.

Yes it's all one length.  It's that way because any layering causes my hair to stick out like King Tut!   I do know how relieved I was when it started to get heavy as it grew(many moons ago!), the weight pulled down the curl.  It's the lesser of two evils!  Do you want your spiral cork screw curls back or do you want to keep lesser curlies by leaving the length? Cheesy Cheesy  Ack, decisions decisions!!!!
I will take a look at the site though.  Thanks!

I have minimal layering, just enough so that my waves aren't all bundled up and they lay really nice.
The other cool thing about this type of cutting is that I only need to go every 3 months or so.  It doesn't change the shape of my hair like a "style" would.
At your hair's current length it should have body and lay beautifully, not stick out like a pyramid.  It also balanced the hair so its not flat on the skull and poofy at the bottom but more even.
BTW, I'd kill for your spiral cork screw curls.  I'd totally rock them the Deva Curl way!  But, that's just me.   Wink

Embarrassed it doesn't stick out now.  It did when I began groing it in the early 90's.
C asked me to research a couple of salons within Bklyn. and if I find one that can help, I'll go on Thurs.  Hopefully whoever I choose can accomodate a wheelchair! Undecided

...

This is a pic of my hair today after washing 2X with shampoo bar,ACV rinse,Suave Coconut conditioner,Infusium23 and a touch of Frizz Ease cream.  I think I'm gonna have a serious chop or it may be that it's very humid here today!! Roll Eyes

You might need a protein treatment.  When was the last time you did a deep treatment?

I'm excited for your upcoming Curlygirl cut!!!  Deep breaths!!  You're gonna look amazing!!!

Thanks!
I had done a Wen deep conditioning treatment about 3 days before.  I kept it on over night.  I had applied it around 2pm the day before, slept with it and then washed it out by 10am the next morning.  Did absolutely nothing for my hair!!!
There was alot of humidity yesterday and today it poured!  That's the frizz factor! Roll Eyes Angry
I am so nervous and anxious about Friday, but will take deep breathes and I promise I won't strangle or punch the stylist! Lips Sealed Cheesy

Undecided Yeah...I kinda figured Wen products for a colossal waste of money.

Not unless they ruin your hair.

I was wondering about Wen products, too.  I am glad I didn't spend the money.

Have you ever tried a mayonnaise treatment?  You put it on dry, cover with a shower cap and leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo as usual.  You can add olive oil to it, if you want.  Should leave your hair frizz-free, shiny and with lots of body and curl.  Intensifies your color, too.

My hair tends to be frizzy, and sometimes rubbing a dryer sheet lightly over it helps.

Actually, I just put it up either in a coiled bun or with a leather barrette and stick and by the next morning, it's settled down.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm a pescatarian/vegan.  I'd be a total vegan if I didn't have MS and rely on fish for my Omega 3's and 6's.
There's gotta be something for vegans................I may have to experiment with coconut milk, coconut oil and shea butter!

Ok,finally my TiLite is here!!!  Woo Hoo!!! Grin Cool  It came out better than I had thought.  The Scarlet Ice and Black are very cool looking.  C and I took it out for a spin and it handles the city sidewalk bums like a charm.  I'm  very pleased.  The only thing that it didn't have were the frog legs that were on the original specs.  The ins. co. either overlooked it or didn't approved it.  All in all I'm a happy camper!  So from start to finish it took 4 months.  You can't go wrong with a custom made titanium wheelchair!!!

Woo hoo!  Sounds great, Curlgirl.  Enjoy!!!  Hey, I thought frog's legs went on a plate, not a wheelchair.
