He didnt know this
Dec 12th, 2008 at 4:45pm

I stopped in at my local convience store for a dr pepper yesterday and the man behind the counter goes "WOW!!" I have never seen your hair down before.  It really is very long and thick.   He has always seen it up and ready for work.  Before he came to this country, he said his hair was very long, never cut, wrapped in a turban.  He then asked various questions, re: wash/dry time, how long been growing ? etc.

I didnt know he would ever be interested.  His wife's hair is waist.

Smiley  What a warming and positive story.  Are they Sikh of Punjabi origin?  I'm asking because I have seen Punjabi women both in the U.S. and Denmark with gorgeous full and thick hair to their knees.  I was so envious as a kid and I'd find the clumsiest reasons to talk to them because I was in complete awe of their hair. Drear  I dont know.  I have seen the grandfather still wearing a turban.  The mans hair is in a typical mans cut now, and I think his wifes hair is the longest for her at waist.  I dont know where they are from.
