The end result is definitely very nice looking!  I am sure that if I tried that I would end up with a big rat's nest!  Do let us know if you try it how you like it.

Didn't get a chance to see it until now. I must admit, while watching it, it gave me an idea.

I betcha you could do a very neat momoware by using her sock-technique. Use a pretty-patterned sock, and then split the hair once you've got it down to the base to expose the print or color!

I love the look of that bun!  Thanks for posting!

I wonder how easy it is to take down?  But will definitely have to try it!

This really looks interesting.  I think I would like try it, but my hair is very fine, just past shoulder lenght and I am not sure it would cover the sock.  If you've tried this with fine, how did it work?

Good question!  I have no idea, but assuming you went slow when you put it up and didn't rat the hair up, I would think it would unroll fairly easily? Huh

My first attempt failed--I was going too fast and ended up with hair not wrapped snuggly enough around the donut.  But it rolled right out without a problem.  I'll keep trying.   Smiley
