Guy's Hair Falling

Any advice on how to stop guys' hair from falling? A friend of mine is 24 and his hair falls already. I told him it could be stress and he tried a special shampoo formulated to stop hair from falling, but it hasn't worked.

Sure, he could try Rogaine (topically applied minoxidil, over the counter) or Propecia (a prescription drug taken orally).  It is my understanding that the best results from either of these drugs comes when they are started as early as possible.
