Hi there,

need a little consolation  Cry One of my single pins broke when my brother droped it down to the floor. I bought some special glue to repair but today I noticed that our housekeeper must have thrown it away. I hate this woman. The remaining stick is to short to wear and besides the fragment looks ugly. It was one of my favourite, and all they (the housekeeper and my mother) can say is "Things happen"! I am really unhappy and very furious  Angry

Oh, poor E.!  I knew secretly that brothers weren't good for anything ;)

At least you know you have more on their way to you!  I know it's little consolation when something you love is gone, but at least it's *something*, right?

How frustrating.  I have a glass "magic wand" short hairstick at work that was always a bit of a good luck charm.  When I was out of the office for a week, another co-worker used my workstation and broke it.  I was so upset.  I still have the pieces (fortunately the cleaning people here are not very thorough) and hope to have it repaired some day.  In the meantime I am on the lookout for a new one.  Maybe you can turn this situation into an opportunity to justify acquiring a new, more beautiful hairstick!  I'm sure Rapunzel could help you pick one out  Wink
