I keep my hairsticks in a Chinese jade calligraphy brush holder but I have a *great* solution for all those hair toys that are not so easily stored... use a clear vinyl shoe organizer!  One of those kind that hang over a door with all the clear pockets in them, you can even organize by color :)

Thank you! Iīll try. The sticks are safe in my jewelery roll- I donīt want them to break. But the other mess...

I have a rented storage facility for all my hair toys. 8)

OK, In reality I have a clay pot filled with rice that I keep my hairsticks and forks in.  A small drawer in the bathroom is where I keep all my Bunjii's and scrunchies, foam rollers, and barrettes.

I have a section of a drawer in my dresser in the bedroom that I keep the socks I use to tie my hair in and my snap and go rollers.

I like the idea of the hanging organizer on the door.  I just might have to try that out!

Hairsticks in a small cup, claw clips in another small glass cup, and barrettes and other stuff in yet another cup. Scrunchies are in a little basket. And ficcares and slides are just arranged prettily on my dresser.

I hope you just mean plastic or plain wood sticks with no finish on them.  Rice will wear away the finish of most finished wood hairsticks if you shove them in there often enough.  I imagine it would probably wear away the clear enamel I finish mine with too, even though it's pretty tough.  I don't know for sure, but I don't plan to experiment!  ;)

Thanks for the heads up on the rice.  Most of my hair sticks are natural wood finish, metal or plastic, but I do have a few with a finish that I imagine could show wear eventually.  Originally I did not have the rice and I found that the sticks were getting scratched.  The rice has prevented that type of damage.  I will look into other methods for my haristicks.  Heaven forbid I ruin any of my favorite hair sticks!
