Hi all!

I am 29 years old and have been living in Sweden since 1996 (although I grew up in the USA). After all, why would I leave when my curly hair loves the low humidity here? Smiley

I have had short hair for almost 10 years now, but I've finally decided to take the plunge again. The last time I grew my hair it reached mid-back, but I didn't really know how to take care of it and it ended up as one big bush (think of Hermione in Harry Potter)!

My hair is thick and curly, or extremely wavy - somewhere in between. It is more or less copper in color, but much blonder in the summer. I have been growing it since Christmas, taking vitamins, washing every 3 days and taking very good care of it. As usual, my hair is thanking me by growing very quickly, it is about mid-neck and has grown at least 3 inches since Xmas.

I'm looking forward to great discussions with you all, take care!

/Kate

SWEDEN!  Another place I'd love to visit.  What takes you there?  (Or why did you grow up in the US? I guess the question can go either way.)

Isn't it fun to discover all the different colors your hair can be?  Summer sun gives it such wonderful highlights!

What took me to Sweden in 1996 was, of course, a guy Smiley We had a long-distance relationship (not recommended) while I was in college, and after graduation I thought I'd move and give Europe a try. That didn't last, but the job market was great and I had fun and sowed my wild oats for a few years. Wink Now I've settled down and my sweetie and I have been together for 4 years.

We're putting a bid on a house this week! I'm so excited!
