Vacation to Canada
Jul 15th, 2004 at 4:27pm

Hey Folks,

Yay... vacation.... I don't know about the rest of you, but when I am away from the boards I get withdrawal symptoms though! Not in a bad addiction kind of way, but I just miss the daily rituals. We're heading to Vancouver B.C. and I be back in several days, and that's a long time for my hairloving self.... time to test "traveling hair" tips...   : ( ...will miss all..

Vancouver is a beautiful town! (But I'm not sure I'd want to bike all those hills  Tongue)

Enjoy your vacation.  We will all be here for your return when you can tell us all the wonderful things you did while in Vancouver.

Hey Y'all

Anais Satin is back to the boards... Lol, Elvis has left the building. The Eagle has landed. (gawd am I a Nirvana child)...okay, okay....

Vancouver is so gorgeous! We saw a beautiful sunset on Sunday evening out by the riverside. They had a "Night Market" close by, open on the weekends this time of year, and they have all sorts of goodies sold extremely cheap (sharked DVDs, t-shirts and hats, etc.) People were demonstrating new and improved mops. No, really! They had this dude speaking three languages, loudly advertising and demonstrating a weird new mop that somehow works better than a normal mop. It had a squeegee attachment for linoleum floors or something. Hey! I better get back to cleaning up in Show off Your Locks! haha

We spent the entire day with a family we've been friends with for twenty-something years. I think the mom and my mom are plotting something.. to get her son and I married after he's out of grad school. Both moms keep dropping hints; like references to "my daughter" and "friend and companion for life" (rough translation). Normally, I'd mind this kind of setup, but the guy and I have been friends since we learned how to walk.. The biggest thing is that for the first time, I love the family more than the guy.
