Sounds like you learned a great deal. Good luck on the diet, the hair, and every aspect of your life. You no longer mention your diet in the later chapters so I assume you met your goal weight?

Actually, the name rang a bell. Years ago, I used to write to an Ella that sang and was a brilliant artist. Are you a singer since you use 'songbird' in your name?
