Infinity bun
Sep 27th, 2004 at 10:43pm

Kate asked me if I'd tried an infinity bun while wearing figure 8s, and I hadn't. This morning I decided to try it that way. As I suspected, it was necessary to start the bun off-center in order to get the finished bun centered.

What I hadn't expected was that the increasing thickness of my hair was going to make the bun inherently lopsided. That's not what I like, so I'm probably not going to wear it this way again for a couple of years, when my infinity is uniformly thick. But here are the pix, from two angles.

Looks great!

Although the difference in thickness is noticable when looking for it, I think you could wear this style with confidence.

Thanks for sharing!

Nice bun, eKatherine! Personally, I don't think the  thickness difference detracts from the hairstyle.

Lovely! I don't think the thickness is noticeable at all. If I tried that, I'd get a thick portion on one end and three strands at other end of the bun. LOL!!
