That's great, 13bodies!  I'll give two sticks a try next time.  Isn't it such a bummer missing out on sticks?

Today was really great!  I wore a bun w/ butterfly swingsticks and had fun having lunch w/a bunch of guys.

These are the Mariah SwingSticks:

http://tinypic.com/5edfh2

So far everyone I've met that works w/hubby is nice and also cool.  I'm glad he works w/good people.

Then I went to the mall to return some shoe clips (yikes! I didn't realize they would dent my shoes) and got some more hair accessories from the Icing shop.  One rhinestone & pearl hair fork, one rhinestone comb and a plastic comb that is kind of victorian in style.  Looking forward to playing w/those (for the top of my french twist, and for camoflauging a flipped pony or 1/2 gibson).  If you're looking for really small rubber bands (no more snags) they sell them in packs of 50.  They are black & clear.  My neice has BSL super fine hair and when she puts in multiple braids (like 24 for her whole head) the regular bands for braiding are too big.  FYI  Grin

Hmm.  I have no idea what I've done over the last few days.  Although it is a holiday weekend for us here in USA, I still had to work.

I'm seriously considering Ouidad's products-they are specifically made for wavy/curly hair.  Hmmm.  I have some scritching stuff from Louise Marie LongHairs coming, so I'm thinking about her products, too.

I can't decide right now, I'm having PMS.  Better wait a week or two.

Ordered more hairsticks, no surprise there.  Some should be arriving soon!

I washed my hair last night, scrunched in some gel and then smoothed a lighter gel on the outside to control frizz.  My waves are extremely loose today.  I used some duckbill clips to arrange my top layer so as it dried I have lift on top.  I think this will become more important the longer my hair gets.

Got notification that my LMLH order is on its way.  Serious scritching here you come!!!

Hair is feeling a bit longer, think I'll stick to those micro trims at the salon.  I think I've got another month to go, maybe more.  Think I'll go do some dusting.

LOL!  That's so sweet of you, BB to offer to store my sticks for me.  Perhaps issue would be a better choice of words.
Really, I need to order more silk rolls.  You see, I like to keep my sticks in ROY G. BIV order (plus SE) so I haven't enough rolls to accomodate the current situation.
If I change my mind, I'll let you know... Grin

Yo, sistah!
I hear your pain!! Storage is major PIA  Undecided
Rolls, is the way forward. Plus little plastic transparent boxes. I have two for purple, one for aqua and one for pink pairs. You can put them in the transparent boxes in layers, with Rapunzel's scented paper in between and with the box being transparent you can still see instantly what's inside  Grin Grin
But rolls is probably the best way. I use rolls that match the colour of the sticks inside, I mean reds in red rolls, black in black rolls etc

So you are the one who got that awesome purple geisha!!! What an awesome pin!! I love it!
And I should have known it would be YOU the one that got all the three holostix I,too, liked! LOLOLOLOL
Really SISTAH  Grin  Grin

Yep, I'll be using several GC's to buy enough rolls for my sticks.  I also like to keep the color of stick in same color roll.  When I first ordered the rolls, she didn't have many colors available.  Better get on that!  I like your idea of the transparent boxes, right now my rolls are all sitting haphazardly on my dresser.
Yes, February's Daughter is very beautiful-I like them even more in person  Grin
Well, I'm kinda sorry I got the three pairs of holostix you wanted.  At the same time I'm happy I got 'em.  What can ya do?
I missed out on the SE Majestix she just posted.  Win some/lose some?

Today I could NOT figure out what to do w/my hair.  I stood in front of the mirror and stared at myself.  Then it dawned on me: the Loopy Twister!!  I didn't feel like a bun, but a plain pony was too boring so voila! problem solved.  I was running late so I went sans sticks, but I have to go out later on and I'll put some in then.  Grin  The more I use the Loopy Twister the more I like it.

Went to myopractor yesterday-my right IT band is SUPER DUPER tight.  Unfortunately, it is a hard area to stretch and with my level of flexibility it makes it even more difficult to stretch it out.  Arrgg!!  I have my monthly massage tomorrow so I hope we can address it more then.  She did give me one stretch that I think will work, but hubby has to help me do it and he doesn't have the understanding of how the body works in this area so we'll have to finagle it to get it to work.

Thanks, BB, I don't know about being and expert but I do enjoy this process of growing my hair and having options!
I had my hair super short for a while, it was a nice experience and now I'm done with that.  I began missing all the things I could do with my hair and if I saw a cool hair accessory or a beautiful 'do on someone with long hair I'd mourn the fact that my hair was no longer long.
So!  Here we are today.  I'm not sure how long it is now, probably around 20 inches.  It seems longer, and that makes me happy!!
Disney has such a huge catalog of great songs.  My voice teacher only has a few of the books of music, so what I've currently got could change.  Alice in Wonderland is one of my very favorites, at the last recital the younger kids did many songs from that one so I didn't want to do any for the next one.  I'm looking forward to figuring out the costumes (of course!!!) and acting more with the songs.  I think it will be really cool.

I have spent hours today looking for Edwardian clothing for my Mary Poppins costume.  I found a few things on Ebay-I've never used it before.  It would keep the cost down.  I'm a bit (well, more than a bit) frustrated so many of the waist sizes are smaller than mine.  Ugh!  I feel so fat.
I might be able to make a skirt, might be a fun project.
Oh!  I just realized I was going to call my sister tonight.  3 hour time difference, I gotta go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I bid on ebay for the very first time...waiting to see if I "won" or not.
I've ordered a sample pack of Jessicurl products.  A couple of girls here mentioned it-I had never heard of her line before.  I tried this evening Jess' method of applying gel to very wet hair and then w/ microfiber towel scrunching out excess water and re-scrunching more gel.  The idea is to encourage curl formation and decrease frizz.  I haven't received her products yet, I used my Avalon Organic Botanicals Lavender shampoo and Rosemary conditioner, then Lucky Tiger gel and Aubry's Organic spray on conditioner.

Here's how it looks still quite wet:

http://tinypic.com/5nn58w

I'll post another pic after I try her products with the same method.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!  I'm lovin' my wavy hair.
There is deffo more defined wave and more wave on the top layer than usual.  I did use a few duckbill clips to lift a few curls to give more volume to the top as they dry.
Hubby and I went for a walk just after taking this pic and I could see my waves in my shadow on the ground.  Cool!!
