Why thank you, Anais.

Last night I washed w/LML poo & dish, then used Jessicurl's styling products.  When I got up today I used her Awe Inspiraling spray to wake up my hair and here's the result!!

http://tinypic.com/5wwdug

That's the Violet Noir Shadowstix in my hair.

(Insert intro to Donna Summer's song "I Feel Love " here)

Its only my second attempt at Jess' styling technique, but I think its going to be a winner!!!!

Now, I must also note that my little bun for the first time wraps around more than one time!!  Yay!!

I'm feeling the love for my hair.  Can you feel it?

I LOVE your waves!  The half up bun really shows off the waves in your hair.  And of course, the sticks look beautiful in your hair.

Thanks, BB!  Now, if only the top layer would wave as nicely as the under!  I think with Jess' method and practice I'll get better at distributing the product and that will improve the situation.  Of course, I could wear my hair like this often and show both waves and hairstix!!!

...later on the same day hubby takes me to Fuddruckers for yummy hamburgers.  Switching to Sparkling Twilight Glitterstix:

And it looks this good after napping for 3 hours!!  I love Jessicurl styling products.

However, I came late to the Pearl party  Cry

Jessicurl saga: I think I got it!

Once again, practice makes perfect.  Here's how my application of jessicurl styling products turned out (I think I've got it right!)

http://tinypic.com/5xkg2x

and

http://tinypic.com/5xkg8g

These pics were taken right before I went to bed...
This morning I woke up, stuck my hair back w/ a scrunchie to keep my hair out of my brushing/washing and voila!  it was so cute I left it that way.  My waves got noticed!!!  This is the best the top of my hair has EVER looked.
My secret: when scrunching in product w/head upside down, instead of doing right & left on either side of the center part go along the part right down the middle.  Yeehaa!!!  I'm a genius  Wink

<<bows>> Thank you, thank you.

I think sometimes I get a bit of an attitude.  As a matter of fact I had one when I had to get ready for guitar class...

http://tinypic.com/5yyxoh

and to go with it...

http://tinypic.com/5yyxr9

The rabbit and his/her co-horts can be found at www.JimBenton.com.  I think they're so funny.  I had to get this t-shirt when I saw it.  Yep, that's me.

Wore two little buns to ballet today, but no sticks.  I was barely awake from my nap to get dressed let alone pick out a pair from my collection.  I have to set them out like my clothes or else it takes so long I wind up being late.

Woops!  Forgot to mention those are Midnight Rosebuds Glitterstix in my hair  Grin

Ahhh, my holostix have arrived:

Deepest Space Holostix
Lilac Starlight Holostix

and

Bloo Moon SE Holostix

Update on hair routine:

Step 1: Scritch w/ horn comb, apply scalp oil and scritch again

Step 2: Wash w/LML shampoo, then Condition w/LML conditoner

Step 3:
Styling with Jessicurl's Rockin' Ringlets Styling Potion, Confident Coils Styling Solution, Gelebration Spray and on occasion Awe Inspiraling Spray.  Unless I don't want to go wavy and then I leave out styling products.

Never have my waves looked so good.

Today will try Jessicurl's Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment

I have not been co'ing and my scalp & hair are quite happy at the moment!  I haven't done much deep conditioning lately but my hair is not dry since using LML.

Am also having fewer spits since starting this program.

Today begins new vitamin regimen for hair:
Hairtopia supplements.

Ahhhhhh.  Today hubby & I cashed in on our Valentines' Day gift: 3 hours spa treatments side by side.  It was quite a treat-we've decided to make it an annual event.

13bodies,
yep, the Bloo Moon's are very purdy.

I ordered some gallon sized jessicurl styling products.  I'm almost out of my samples-I may have to wear my hair straight-ish later this week!!  Shocked

Hubby leaves for China tomorrow AM, I'm bummed but it is work and they need him to go.

Still loving LML and Jessicurl!!  Oh, and most important, my wavy hair!!!  Woooooooohoooooooooooo!  8)

Oh, if only hubby didn't take the digital camera to China with him!!!
Today I made a new bun w/braid accents.  I took the front center, about 2 1/2 inches across and set that hair aside.  Then, gathering all but some of the hair across the nape of my neck into a pony and banding it.  I dampened my pony w/lavender water and twisted it into a bun.  Then I misted the front hair and braided it, pinning at bun and wraping ends around outside of bun to blend.  Then I divided the hair at the nape, misted 1/2 and braided that wrapping ends w/a band and crossed right section over to left side of bun-pinning to secure.  Repeated w/left section, crossing over to right side of bun.
I added a single hairstick Montana Rain SE Individualistix on the diagonal and I was off!
I taught one class, then off to take ballet class.  Had a most awesome lunch at a little place by the dance studio and then off to voice lessons.  Now I've had a bath, I'm ready to eat dinner and go to bellydance.
Wow, am I going to sleep well tonight.  Haven't seen a minute of television today.
Hmmm.

OMG am I exhausted!  Today I have the 14 hour hairdo.
My theme is week is accent braids, so there are 2 of  them.
First, take the hair from right ear to left ear across back of head.  Pull out hair at temples.  Band the majority of hair just below crown.  Mist w/lavender or rose water.  Twist into bun and pin.  Braid hair at temples and pull up sides of head and pin at bun.  Take remaining hair, twist in a low pony and then lift it up forming a french twist.  Secure w/french twist comb.  Insert into the bun an individualistick that compliments a geishastick (place individualistick above geisha same side on diagonal)
No spray, just GO!
Please forgive any spelling errors...I've been home 30 minutes of the last 14.  I'm trying to get this down before I pass out and I still need to shower and give Sweetie some attention.
When hubby comes home I'll recreate and take a pic.
I got a lot of compliments today on my hairstix-it is a first.  It used to bug me that no one said anything and now I kinda don't wanna tell 'cause then there'd be more competition for my favorite sticks!!  I don't want that!  OK, I'm selfish!
Contacts are so dry I can hardly see-sure made guitar class difficult!
I'm hittin the shower now...bobby pins begin to fly!

Where I live it is still June 22 as I write this...
Ugh!  I was so tired this morning I didn't make any accent braids.  Just a simple scrunchi pony at the nape for work, a low plain bun for ballet and all of it down for bellydancing.
I'm freakin' tired out but so happy to be back bellydancing.
As a matter of fact I danced solo infront of a stranger & my teacher and I didn't suck!  That's good to know since I'll be dancing w/teacher at a private party this Saturday.  It is my first solo-I really wish I had that digital camera now!!!  I've had a beautiful bra & hip belt set (black & sliver sequins and beads) that I've never worn 'cause it needed some adjusting so tonight after class teacher helped me pin it so I can add the hook and eyes so it fits.  Man, I'm gonna look so good and not have any pictures.  D**n!
Any way, seems like the monsoons are coming early this year.  Gives me a headache  Cry
I don't wanna have a headache.
Thank goodness tomorrow's my last class for the week.  I've got another ballet class on Friday, and to fix my costume, pick out my makeup, get my bindis together, my jewelry... yikes!  I better get crackin'!
