I can hardly believe a week has passed since I last posted-I think its the longest ever!
Well, with hubby gone I have more responsibilities.

Three new additions to the collection:

Paris Disco Futuristix

My first pair of pearlistix
Ice Garden Pearlistix

and

Dusty Violets Shadowstix SE

Yummy!!

I've been doing well w/LML shampoo & conditioner and Jessicurl styling products.  I've also been using the meditation tape from Riquette Hofstein.  I do think my hair is longer, I shoulda' measured before I started using it.  Add to that the Hairtopia vitamins, herbs & aminos.  It is also very hot out here in Arizona so perhaps it is just the right combination!?!

I danced my first solo last Saturday and it went really well.  I hope the pictures come out!  I danced at the restaurant Sunday and ballet on Monday and NOW my right hip is really out of wack.  Luckily I got an appointment for tomorrow!  I didn't dance at all today it is bothering me that much.

Thank goodness I only have one class to teach tomorrow and then I don't work again until Tuesday.  Hubby comes home on Friday so we will have some quality/quantity.  I've really missed him these past 12 days.

I think I'm off to take a shower and catch some major ZZZZZZZZZ's, after my meditation tape of course!

Congrats on the dancing, but sorry to hear you've injured yourself.  You must take care of yourself!

Thanks, BB.  I got an adjustment today and I'm back in action.  My hip was so out of allignment that the bone wasn't properly rotating in the socket.  No wonder it was bothering me so bad.
I plan on ballet tomorrow, may have to have adjustments more often than once a month!  At least for a while.

I slept about 4 hours after my adjustment.

Hubby comes home tomorrow!!!  Yippeee.

*Giant, Heavy Sigh*
Hubby just called, his is finally on a flight from LA to Phoenix but he won't get in until after 10PM.
My day has for the most part sucked.
I got all ready to go to ballet and just getting on the road my service engine soon light came on.  YIKES!  So, I turn around to get hubby's car.  By the time I got home there was no way i'd get to class and there was a phone call waiting for me to return (someone looking for a yoga sub-thanks, no thanks  along with a message from hubby that his flight from China is 4 hours delayed-he must have called last night while I was showering so I didn't know he'd called until today)  So, all dressed up in my pink tights and black leotard w/ no place to go.  Fine, I think, this will give me lots of time to take a bath, get super soft skin, shave, etc 'cause hubby comes home today!  Then I try to find out when his flight is gonna land in LA and I go to the homepage of China Eastern air and there's a tab for English with absolutly no information on it.  I couldn't track the flight from LAX but then I looked up a phone number for the airline.  At least by then I knew he wouldn't be in before 5PM.
UGH!  I got all dressed up in my red dress & shoes and nope, he's gonna eat at the LAX airport so no dinner.  I'm bummed.  Perhaps you read my blatant ploy for warm fuzzies under the letting your hair down thread.  My hair looks great, BTW.   Tongue
I am greatful that he is on his way home now, its just that I had been planning (I must have gone through 7 or 8 outfits before settling on the red dress) and I'm feeling very disappointed.   Cry

I know, G_L, I could hardly believe the Dusty Violets were still available when I got there.  They're even more beeautiful in person.

Hubby made it home OK, I figured I wouldn't let the WHOLE thing I had  planned get ruined so I brought him a boquet of flowers and he really liked them.  I picked him up at the curb, so they were sitting on the front seat.  Grin

Now begins the wierd process of adjusting to him being in the house.  I missed him, tons of course, but now I have to deal w/him.  Anyone know what I mean?

At any rate I plan on seeing the Star Wars III today.  I took tomorrow off, so YAY 3 day weekend.

Well...I went to see SWIII and about 30 mins into the movie the power goes out.  No emergency lighting-pitch black.  Hmmm.  Someone from the theatre comes in to say that the power is out in the whole area and it may take up to 3 hours to get it back on, in which case they'll give us all free passes for the future.  Did I forget to mention it was about 113 degress outside?  That's why we're here-to beat the heat.  Anyway, the power goes back on after about 40 minutes and the film resumes.  I enjoyed it, and hope to see it without interruption someday.
I can hardly believe it, but I forgot to wash my hair yesterday.  With LML you wash everyday and OMG! I forgot.  So I did it today and did a deep conditioning w/#19-smells so good, it has honey in it.  If felt so good I just wanted to work it through my hair forever.
Result is very soft and slightly sweet smelling hair.  Yum.
Decided to stay home and watch movies instead of going out to watch fireworks.  So!  A bit of July 4th tradition, we're having hotdogs & potato chips w/ iced tea and key lime pie.  Ahh, nostalgia without the crowds, heat and parking headaches.
Am beginning to consider going 10-12 weeks w/o trim.  Will contemplate further.
Been wearing hair down more often, initially because to dry hair wavy it must be left alone.  More recently 'cause it looks real pretty wavy and feels sexy on my neck & shoulders.  Also, I wear it down for bellydancing so I wanted to "get used to it".  I'm looking forward to it getting past 19" for more full braid options (w/LL hairsticks!)

Yes, Gabi, it is wonderful.  This was the first I tried honey bee-sure makes my hair soft.  How long do you leave it on?  I shampooed, applied #19 working it through hair and on scalp, rinsed, applied #9 and rinsed w/flexicomb.  Is that how you use it??  I have never showered this much in my life.  I used to avoid getting my skin wet frequently 'cause it would dry me out so bad and I would have to apply oil to my skin all the time which is a big hassle.  I think I have the right products at this time.  Kind of a happy accident-my skin is very sensitive tending to be dry and flakey and w/this daily wash routine my skin is soft-I'm exfoliating every other day.  I scritch everyday which has really changed my dry flakey scalp so I guess that's what I need to do!!!

Today I tried the camo/superclear shampoo w/ #10-B.  Hair is super soft again.

I've decided to cancel my hair appointment for next week and not reschedule.  I'll never get longer if I keep getting trims and I'll have some splits anyway because of the damage from the coloring/stripping until that grows out.  My hair doesn't appear damaged unless you look VERY closely at the ends and even then there isn't much now.  I do find splits that are a good 1-1/2" up the shaft, trim those meself I do.  Luckily, not too many of those!!!  Grin

Wore my hair in a french braid today.  Usually I don't feel mine looks good enough to wear out of the house, but w/the bit of new growth it's staying better.  Even through 3 classes and doing postures on the back of my head in each class!!  I did take out my hairsticks before inverting!!  Today I wore my Zircon Waters Spiralstix.  They matched my biketard.

Tomorrow is class, adjustment (which means leaving hair in scrunchi pony) then ballet (bun w/sticks) and then I'm free unless I decide to go to bellydancing class.  PMS steals my energy, besides its triple digit temps.

ROTF - yea, we are getting awfully clean Grin

I put the #19 on after rinsing the last shampoo and get out of the shower (with the #19 all over my body and face 'cause it's so nice for the skin too) - wrap in plastic,  wrap a towel around it and wait for twenty to thirty minutes.  then I get back in, rinse HOT and do the #9.

But the way you did it is good too, just shorter and less intense.

I find I don't even need to wash face and body with anything other than residual shampoo and my skin is loving it too - itchies are much improved.

Hey!  Did you go full Magic Pack?  If you did make sure you sign up for "search" and your diary ...g

Gabi, I have not gone MagicPak yet.  I got a small surprise kit when I re-ordered #18 scalp oil.  I would like to MP, but I'll have to save up for it.  Right now I have 4 shampoos: superclear, ouzo shampoozo, cam/superclear and lavatea.  For conditioner I have: #10-B, #9 trees stimulate, protein treatment and honey bee #19.
I haven't gotten to the lavatea or protein treat yet, but my hair loves everything so far.  Last night was my 1st time trying cam/superclear-I think it is for blonds-my ashy blond is shining gold in the sun  Smiley
Next time I do #19 I'll try it your way.

Am cancelling hair appointment TODAY!

Hip is still outta whack-no dancing for next 2 weeks  Cry
However, I take this as good sign that further healing is taking place.  Just wish my hip & leg didn't feel so wierd at times.  Strange sensations.  I think it is energy flow returning to full capacity.  Nerves, too.

Woo - excellent way to go!  Make sure you sign up for that search too, lot's of good and EASSSsssssssily accessible tips.  I think they are re-doing some of the tutorials now too.

Great on cancelling the hair appointment - I so wish I'd gone this direction before I cut up to three inches off of velcro hair.

If you do decide to go full Magic Pack you will be able to do "put together" so you are ahead of the game no matter how you go eventually.

Enjoy! ... I want more horncombs *I feel like that little guy in Lord of the Ring*; Oooo, the tea, I want that too.

Good luck on the hip  Sad - I get that on one side too from running *arrrgh* ...g

My hair seems lighter in color today, perhaps the camo/superclear is bringing my blond back.  Wouldn't that be nice?!

I am loving LML products!  My hair is so soft and manageable  which is saying something!!!

When I scritch & apply scalp oil and scritch again I was getting very tangly in my dry hair so when I ordered last I asked them to pick out a horncomb for me to comb through the length before I shampooed.  I am happy w/their choice so I comb it before and after my scritching routine.  Horncombs very nice.

Gabi, have any plans to meet LML herself at the salon?  I keep thinking an extended weekend trip to Toronto may well be in order.  I have no idea how long it takes to get in to see her, but sounds like fun to me.  Besides, Toronto has great museums and a fantastic High Tea at the Royal York hotel.  I'd love to go back.

I'm going to talk to hubby about going MP next month.  I'll have to be a very good girl and not spend on ANYTHING I don't really require, but I feel MP is the way to go.  I plan on using up what I got in the surprise kit first...getting impatient now that I'm not going to get a haircut at the salon.  Did you MP w/product only?

I am really making it into a ritual-I put on the soundtrack to Vanity Fair and scritch, then shower and let my hair air dry.  I really feel I'm taking time out for myself as well as good care of me.  I got lost for awhile in the taking care of me department, it is good to be at this point.
Besides, by bathing later in the day I never have to get up early for work and I'm watching much less TV.

Think I'll go snack on some bing cherries.  Yum-fruit in season.

Hiya!

I did go product only because I already had four combs, the flexipik and a Mason Pearson brush and Kent fake tortoise smoother.  But you know  Grin, if you go with the tools you get another couple of horncombs *snort*.

I would sooooo love to go to see LM in person but I'm further away than you are  Shocked.  Unless there is ever something we can combine I don't think I'm ever going to get to go, fortunately she's really great with the on-line support.  But, you know, I can't very well get a cyber haircut  Cry.

I'm so glad you are getting into it so well.  LOL, at first I felt really sheepish about the time to complete the shower but I'm getting the hang of it too.

Another unexpected beni is that going with this system takes care of my hair'ho tendencies - I always have plenty to switch around with  Roll Eyes.

Enjoy ...g
