I really love your color! When I used to lighten my hair that was a color that I always wanted...Though I got things drastically different. Your curls are also very pretty! Wink Also, 115??? I am guessing Arizona! Ouch!

Hi, AA.  Thanks for the compliment!  I think what you're seeing is the old red I was coloring with, then had striped out twice then had a few months of demi-perm color to blend my roots as I quit coloring and was growing it out.  So, I wouldn't recommend that route, eh??  I have red in my hair naturally, but have been blonde (naturally) most of my life.  Yes, I'm in Arizona.  It sure is hot out here right now.

Forgot to note that I've begun leaving the 'poo on my hair during 4th & 5th washes.  5th wash is new, too.  After my hair is dry it is feeling very soft.  New growth feels softer, but as my length is damaged (see above) I figured I'd try LML's recommendation for leaving it in.  So far, me likes.  Yesterday, today & tomorrow Ouzo shampoozo.  Yeah.

Today I wore a messy bun and my Ice Garden Pearlistix.

Those sticks look awesome with your haircolour Sakina!! Very good choice!  Grin
Tell me pls, are pearlistix as gorgeous up close as they look in the photos? Mine will take quite some time to finally reach me (sticks backlog ya know) and I haven't got any of them yet.
Did you get any of the new bridals?

Hi there, G_L!  Thanks, blues do stand out  w/ my color!  To answer your question, Yes, the pearlistix are totally gorgeous up close.  Sorry you have to wait to receive your stix-I know I can't wait to see 'em, hold 'em, put 'em in my hair ASAP!  So, I wish you patience and happy hairsticks fantasies until they arrive!
No, I didn't get any of the new bridals.  I'm curbing my spending for the next few months-I have costumes to buy...
so there'll be less competition from me for awhile (unless I see a pair I simply cannot do without!)

I ate lunch at Applebees yesterday and so many of the girls had at least BSL curly hair.  I don't know how much of it was natural but it just seemed there was an unusually high concentration of curly/wavey hair'd girls.

Well, gotta go teach a class now...

Applebees'!!! Yeahhh  Cheesy Cheesy I love their restaurants. I'm a big fan of that restaurant-chain from day one (that was almost a decade ago that they came to Greece)
It's at times like these, when you talk on the net and someone thousands of miles away, talks about being to a place you can go to in your own country, that globalisation hits home! Makes you think, huh?

G_L!  I never thought about Applebees being in Greece!!  I usually think of the fast food chains that are corrupting the health of citizens worldwide.  I'll be thinking of you next time I eat @ Applebees  Grin

While getting ready for work today I was feeling very unsatisfied w/how my hair was turning out.  So, I pulled it into a 1/2 pony and was about to bun it when Khrome's figure 8 bun popped into my head.  Here's my 1/2 pony figure 8 w/ Deepest Space Holostix.  I'm gonna keep perfecting this style until my hair is long enough for the "real thing"!

...

Eventhough it is scorching hot here today, I loved wearing my hair 1/2 down 'cause my waves are awesome  Wink

Your hair is such a pretty color!!  I agree with everyone, the Pearlistix go great with it.  I also like your Happy Bunny shirt and matching stix.  LOL  that's something I would totally wear!

Thanks, everybody!  You know, I NEVER get compliments on my hair in my daily life (unless I fish for them from hubby) so it has really made my day to read your kind and encouraging words.  Kiss
I think my natural color is starting to show just below the 1/2 pony bun, not as pretty as the red but I welcome having healthy natural hair again.  I may decide to color red again once my hair reaches desired length but then again maybe not.
Gabi-could you elaborate on the Golden Retriever comment?  I'm a cat person so it was lost on me  Roll Eyes

Today I'm doing the honey bee treatment and I'm gonna leave it on for about 30 minutes.  Will see how it turns out...at least I know I'll smell really yummy!

Wore my hair in a french braid today, not the neatest but passable and I feel good about it.  I just didn't want to wear a pony.  I didn't add hairstick 'cause I didn't know what I was gonna teach today.  I try to plan on not doing inversions or reclined postures when I wear my sticks.

Got an old roll of film developed, almost all of the pics are of my hair w/LL hairsticks!  Now, as soon as they get scanned (by hubby @ his work) I'll post 'em.  Got some cool do's and plenty of that gorgeous red haircolor (once upon a time...)

Also got pics back from bellydancing on CD, don't know if they're post worthy yet or not.

Guess I'm off to bathe...happy hair here I come  Grin

Mmmmmm hair smells like honey & mint now, soft and shiney  Grin
I only did 4 washes w/lavatea, honey bee (left on for about 40-50 minutes) the #9.  Hair looks like it has gold spun into it.

Pics are not as good as I'd hoped  Sad

Best news of all...monsoons have finally arrived!  It has rained!  I'm so happy and thankful!!  Woohoo, YAY rain!

AAAHHHhhhhh.  Now for some sweet dreams of adopting adorable, cuddly, intelligent, loving kitties from the humane society.

I forgot to say black, too.  Or black & white.

I am a true Gemini and I love both dogs and cats Cheesy.

I'm a sucker for just about all hair colors but my very favorite is red and the kind of red that is my favorite is best described as the variations Golden Retrievers come in - all the way from the dark copper to the strawberry blondies with just a hint of red.  If I could have made myself I do believe that would be the color...I actually had it for awhile when my hair was very short but I couldn't keep that going with my naturally very dark hair if I want it long

Hey - I'm on 19n9 tomorrow YAY - love that stuff.  I've got the regular routine down to 20 min. in the shower ... wheeee...g

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Gabi!  I do love all animals but I think cats suit my personality more than dogs.
I hope you enjoy your 19n9  Grin Grin

My hair smells so good, I turn my head & get a whif and then I want to hold it up to my nose and take a deep breath.  That's kinda embarassing to admit.  Hmmm(frowning).  My hair is also completely tangle free, even after having been in my hot weather mini buns all day.

Its been another hot one today.  This is my hair solution for hot weather:

...

I'm noticing right in the middle of my hair my natural color peeking out.  Dirty blonde, guess that's me at my roots.

I'm really looking forward to a decent braided bun or getting a bit more length so that two english braids from behind the ears looks better-right now they are just the right length to poke me in the tops of my shoulders.  I don't like that!

Well, here I am again.  WOW! 14 pages in my jounal.  Cool.

It is very sad to hear about all of the people and animals that are dying from the heat wave we're having.  This weekend hubby & I are going to look for kitties to adopt from the humane society.  I can't wait to see who'll we'll meet.   Grin

Hair was in simple scrunchi pony 'cause I had an adjustment.  I've got the OK to go back to dance, gently of course.  I hope I can restrain myself and not go too far too quick and wind up in discomfort again.

I've been a bit lazy w/my lessons since we've been on break.  I have a lot of music to memorize...so!  this weekend I've got to get on the ball.

If I'm up to it, I'll be bellydancing again July 31st.  I hope I'm up to it.  I may try going back to ballet on the 25th-no leaping for me for now!
