Nice new brows!  Doesn't it take longer for them to grow out than if you tweezed them?  How long will they last?

Such a cute kitty!!

Awwww that kitty is so cute!!

It reminds me of my boyfriend's cat.  When he was a kitten, he would lay down on his laptop for attention. Smiley

Beautiful hairstyle Sakina!  I am very jealous of those eyebrows...makes me want to run and get mine done.  I've been meaning to have mine done for awhile...and now, they have something called eyebrow threading that I feel a need to look into.  Roll Eyes

Gorgeous little kitty, reminds me of my Jeff, all black with a kink in his tail as well.  Cheesy

Thanks, Gabi!  I'll let you borrow him after his snot nose clears up.  Don't think he'll be much help, but he smells good.  Baby kitty smell.  Yum Grin

Thanks, Cynde!  Yes, waxing grows the hair back more slowly.  I asked her how often I should come to maintain them and she said 2 to 2-1/2 weeks.  New growth.  Hey, its only $15 a visit.

OMG!  I'm so tired.  Maybe its the GIANT blue cheese &  bacon burger, fries and marionberry cobbler I ate for dinner.  HAH!
Tonight was my recital and it was a rousing success!  I'm too tired to put pics in yet, but hubby got one that is my favorite picture he's ever taken of me.  I'm too full to go to bed yet, think I'll just veg on the couch and do the pic thing tomorrow.

Sowwy, Gabi.  I'll post it right now!

Moi, as Ariel the little mermaid...

...

and a not so good pic as Mary Poppins...

...

Unfortunately for hubby to take a decent video of my performance he had to sit farther back, this is why the MP picture isn't as good.  Ariel was my last costume so he got close up.
I'm totally exhausted today!  I made every costume change (there were 3) and that made me happy.  We had a great audience, two of my yoga students came-that was really nice.  Always need bodies in the seats!!!

Haven't seen the video yet, hope its great 'cause I first made it for grandma although I'm looking forward to seeing myself-haven't done that is years.

Still hoping to hear from LML...

Newest additions to collection (#113 & 114):

Mind's Eye Glimmerstix SE

Venice Burns Glimmerstix

Yeah!!  Finally I got one of the beads I've been trying for!  It's the amazing Mind's Eye.  These are so pretty I want to look at them for hours!  The beads for the Venice Burns are so much more beautiful than in the picture-really indescribable.  YAY

Those photos are fantastic!   - or maybe I should say your costumes are fantastic!  Thanks for sharing the photos with us.  Quite the contrast between being Ariel and Mary Poppins!   Grin

Thanks, y'all.  Maybe if the video turns out I can post it somewhere and then you can hear me?  I don't know anything about that kind of stuff.  Any suggestions?

Gabi, so far I'm just trying to get to BSL, but I think I'd like to go for elbow after that!!

Your costumes are WONDERFUL!  *applauds throws roses to Sakina* Great Ariel outfit.  Did it have fins?

There's enough info in the second pic to pop out the colors in Photoshop.  Here you go - you can right-click it to save it to your own 'puter:

Cynde!!! Thanks!! I don't have photoshop.  I saved it to my computer.  Wow, that is so awesome of you to do that for me.

Thanks for the roses, too!!  The dress did have a "fishtail" bottom...

...

Now, my next project is working on hubby's halloween face-he's going to be a skeleton pirate.  Got the pirate stuff lined up, now I'm gathering ideas and examples of skeleton faces to mix & match the best bits.  I love doing makeup, real & fantasy.

Next recital is in November-Broadway songs.  So far I'm singing 2 songs from Gypsy, both are Mama Rose character.  NOT the Ethel Mermon version, the Bette Middler version (which I haven't seen yet but I guess you can rent it at the video store).
Hmmm, new costume adventure.  No clues until I see the film I guess.

Just watched the video footage of the recital-pretty cool.  I know grandma will love it, as soon as we figure out how to transfer it to a VCR tape.   Roll Eyes
