oh I hope you feel better soon!  I could only imagine that the"baby blues" are very emotional.  I do know about giving yourself shots though.  I've been doing IM and just recently subcu.  You hang in there,Julia very soon will start to recognize her mommy and all of a sudden she'll smile and your heart will melt and make you feel so much better!! Smiley

(((hugs))))
Baby blues are so tough.  I'm sure your physical situation is making it all that much worse.  Hang in there and think about your precious Julia.  Your physical issues will get better.

*hugs*

I hope you feel better soon!  Do you tell your doc about your blues?  They can give you something to help while your body tries to get back on it's hormonal track.  My friend is on something right now - don't remember what it is, but it's safe for breastfeeding.

My bloodclot was following one of many miscarriages, so I did not have the joy of a precious little one to help me thru the ugliness.  I was put on a blood thinner for a year (after the shots that I had for several weeks).  I was to keep my leg elevated as much as possible.  I used a heating pad to help with the pain, since I couldn't take any of the typical pain killers due to the blood thinners.

The "fun" part was marking my leg with a permanent marker each day to show where the clot was and make sure it would not progress any higher than my knee.  I had "darling" black circles on my leg!

I was amazed at how painful the clot was!  But the pain and the clot did go away and I have not had any difficulties since.  (Including having my son.)

I don't have vericose veins (thankfully!), so I did not have the predisposition for the clot, but apparently clots are not uncommon after a late term miscarriage such as mine.

I hope your condition improves quickly and never returns.

Yeooowch!  My brother-in-law got a blod clot in his leg.  The man owns a contracting business, hauls lumber and works HARD, with his hands, all day long.  When he got that blod clot, though, he could barely stand, and though he tried to hide it, the pain was really getting to him.  Curlygirl< I really hope you get better soon...  Kiss

I still have to take the lavenox shots twice daily. I have to give them to me myself

Boy, do I remember those blankity-blank lovenox injections...YEESH.  I developed small clots in my left arm when I had a medi port inserted for the chemo treatments back in 2003.  I remember thinking how ironic it was that anything with the word "love" in its name could cause so much pain!!  --You're much braver than I...I couldn't bring myself to stick that needle in, so my darling hubby did it for me.  --And he apologized every time he had to inject me!   Smiley  I pray that nasty old clot goes away quickly and that you'll have to endure those injections only for a short time.  *hugs*

Dear Journal,

Even though i have not been keeping up with the Hair part of the journal i have been doing plenty.  I got some Almond oil and Jason cocoa butter from the health food store.  I have the cocoa butter in my hair now on the ends and last night i put some Almond oil on the ends. I feel like my hair is really thin. Oh i long for the thickness i used to have. Cry  It feels thin already and wait until it starts shedding.  Im doing my best to care for it.  I wont let Julia make the same mistakes i did. My scalp has been traumatized. I wonder if it will ever recover? Gotta get going.

I should have added that, many moons ago, my hubby took some medical assistant courses, so I was comfortable with him giving the injections.  Otherwise, no way, Jose!   Shocked
