dear online hair journal,

something that stuck in my head was having good hair was the best revenge. i read that somewhere. its kinda funny.  i used to hear  when i was little that  a the only thing that makes a lady pretty is her hair.

im taking these nail, hair and skin vitamins but i think they are making me grow sideburns! Shocked oh myyyyyyyy.   how scary!   anyways my hair loves  the aloe gel with honey mixture as a gel.  it works good and take frizz away.  i also spray a herbal spray on my hair right after the cold rinse shower. its made of lavender oil about 7 drops and boiled water. its from the curly girl book. i need to make some more though. then i put the honey aloe gel in. then i comb.  set to dry then i put it in a bun. i love buns. hooray for buns. Cheesy  also im not measuring for a while. i threw my measuring tape on top of my armoire. it makes life eaSIER.  also my scalp is feeling sensitive  i know its from all the hair trauma it endured. my poor hair life. its been through so much.   thank God i still have some. its  a miracle. i didnt know i can write in pink. its my fave color.
  until next time,
good hair to all

bonjourno jounal,

boy, i have never seen my hair this shiny. it has to be the honey. my hair loves it and its also works nicely as a gel with aloe gel. my hair also loves  the head and shoulders shampoo. i use that about once a week, or when my hair feels too oily. it still hurts me that i have short layers up to my shoulders. it feels like a knife in my heart.  oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh all one length hair where are you and when will we meet again. on americas next top model they had this girl with fabulous hair. they made her cut her precious long healthy hair short as a boy. it was disgusting. she cried for 12 hours! they did it because they were jealous freaks. i felt bad for her. no one understood why she was so upset. i totally understood her pain.

i have been cooking and making yummy things. the food channel is wonderful. sandra lee is my fave.  semi home cooking. she makes cooking so easy and wonderful. the only problem is , is cleaning up the kitchen when your done!

hey moonchild Smiley

the food channel is wonderful! I'm making breads, and soups . yummy food that warms you  up and makes everything better. so far i have made a few things.
1.homemade bread , which is tasty.

2. warm your soul  soup, delicious. rachel ray made it on 30 minute meals. its with  mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, pototoes, rosemary, and lentils.

3. salad, different kinds. shredded carrots(store already shredded kind) are wonderful to toss in soup and salad.

I do love deserts. they now have microwavable brownies which are quick and no mess! lol

dear journal,

well i finally got my  sprayology nail and hair tonic. it says it has human growth hormone( helloooooo should i be worried, i dont want to be swallowing another humans hormones). that scares me a little. ewwwwwww. its a homeopathic spray oral spray with biotin. you spray it 2 times under the tongue , 3 times daily. it  has a wierd taste. i dont like it.  but if it works thats ok, i will take a yucky taste in my mouth to have wonderful hair.

dear journal,

well i didnt get my scritchers yet. hopefully today, thats what my email confirm thing says. ohhhhhhhh i cant wait.  i have been trimming according to morrocon method moon thing.  no more than 1/2 of a fingernail.   the hardest thing to grow out is short layers.  last time it took me two years to grow them out. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh it looks like its gonna be another 2 years until all hair is even.  its ok. longlocks is making the experience better though!!  this site is a fun way to grow out your hair.

dear journal,

didnt get my scritchers again ???. where are they? if they dont come by sat. im calling. (drinking a latte though makes everything better). i wish i never told my mom  i dont shampoo everyday. BIG MISTAKE. note to self never do that again.  she is telling me i will get lice. rediculous things.  she also tells me my hair is "too curly". OKKKKK. hello i have curly hair not straight hair. that is how the good Lord made me.

wonderful pic in Suntimes,  this lady michelle duggar, gave birth to her 16 child, with her long goddess hair at 39 years old is wonderful. she is an inspiration and she still wants more Shocked Shocked Shocked. she has two sets of twins.  prior to reading it  in the newspaper, i have watched their documentary on TLC. it was very interesting about there hectic life. they will be doing another one on discovery health channel. her and her husband are nice ppl who are very blessed.  i would love to have twins! i wish Kiss.

I'm really bummed Cassandra left the show because of that.  She was my favorite from the start.  I felt really bad about her hair.  Tyra had her as a guest on the Tyra Show and let her know she did it because she has the type of face that can pull off that kind of cut - that she'd even look good bald.  And I'd have to agree.  She looked very beautiful both ways.

Thing is about that industry, is that it's rarely about natural beauty.  Models are canvases.  They get their hair fried and butchered, and unfortunately it's just part of the job.  I think those girls really have to be prepared to give up their looks to the whims of the designers.  Definitely not a job I'd want to have.  Smiley

hey cynde Smiley,

i missed the episode where cassandra left! please tell me why she left. also i missed the tyra episode where she came on, i really wanted to see that one because i seen the commercial. cassandra has that natural beauty. i think as a model her natural hair would have worked for her. they use wigs sometimes on runways. i agree she would look good bald too. lol.  by the way i read this article in a magazine where tyra banks says she used to be a bully and make girls cry. it really made me change the way i look at her.

Oops!  I hope I didn't spoil a re-run for you.  I thought you knew she left.  Bad bad me!

Well, in the hair cut episode, Tyra told the hairdresser to make her look like Mia Farrow from the movie Rosemary's Baby.  Mia's hair was probably a half an inch to an inch long - it was really really short.  When they cut Cassandra's hair, evidently it was still "too long".

In the episode after that, Tyra said the hairdresser did not do what she told them to, and that she wanted Cassandra to get another inch cut off.  So Cassandra basically said she wasn't going to do it, and that she'd rather leave.  Now, I don't actually remember her leaving - I thought I saw her in the elimination room (they eliminated a different girl.)  It wasn't until the following week that I found out she really left.
