Dear Hair Diary,

The weekend went okay. We were pooped and are happy to be home.  Thankfully my SIL had some healthy food in her cupboard so I was able to make things like couscous, brown rice and veggie salads.  We took my niece to the farm again.  I made friends with a very beautiful rooster of whom I hand fed.  My niece is afraid of chickens so I showed her not to be, I think the more she sees them the less they will scare her. Oh! In my in-laws neighborhood they have a new belly dancing school two blocks from their house!  I would love to go but I am such a chicken! And due to the area I know its not going to be cheap either.

Thinking of belly dancing, I did some with my little niece over the weekend.  I am learning to find the beat in the music and how to apply the different moves.  My niece loved it; my MIL gave me the traditional dirty looks (like I care) and hubby clapped along!  Smiley

This week I go to the doctor and see what I weight!  Last I looked I am still 145lbs. Hubby thinks I have gotten smaller and so does my SIL, so we shall see!

Bye for now!

Good luck at the doctor's.  Don't forget that it is typical to plateau with the weight loss, but still lose inches as your body adjusts and increases muscle mass and decreases the fat.

I went the doctor today amd I am 141 lbs!  Wooo Hooo!!!... I never thought I would get this far!  I would like to thank everyone who encouraged me. You guys rock!...

Got my anniversay presents lastnight:

A Galileo thermaometer and a Pin Cusion plant!  I love weather measuring stuff and wanted the thermometer for years!  I got hubby a new Swiss Army watch to replace the one he lost.

All in all everthing is good.  My hair is having its once a month gross phase so I will clearify tomorrow.

I'll add my congrats on the weight loss and anniversary.  I too have a Galileo thermometer - I love watching the bulbs move up and down.  In the winter, hubby fires up the wood burning stove to get all the bulbs to the to (which leaves us with the entire house feeling like a sauna!).  I edited your post so I could see your picture to see what size yours is, I'm sure you will have lots of fun watching the bulbs move up and down.

Dear Hair Diary,

Holy crow its hot today!  My poor hair was just soaked after belly dancing and so was my costume bra top.  I took a nice cool shower and rinsed my hair with just water.  My Galileo thermaometer is reading past 85 degress, all the balls are on the bottom.  At least the humity makes my hair more curly!

Picked up my e-bay from the Toronto Police auction today.  I got 24 little square candles for $5!  They also have, drool...a dombek drum...oh I wish!

Oh, almost dinner time!

bye for now! Wink

Dear Hair Diary,

Well it 4:10 am and I'm up with a blasted toothache! ... Mind you I never got to sleep!...  Well it took 40 years for my teeth to go bad.... I need to get this tooth pulled.  It going to cost a mint as we do not have dental insurance.  I could barely eat a thing today.  I finnally gave in and took some codine, the frist one I took at 12:00 am did not do a thing.  The one I took half and hour ago seems to be working. Half of my upper back molar is broken away leaving a nasty hole, I call it the Grand Canyon!...  So now I'm watching the Shopping Chanel (boring!)
Looks like I am going to miss my MIL's 69th birthday party tomorrow, hope she doesn't freak.

bye for now...
