Dear Hair Diary,

Last night I went for a walk to get the kink out of my leg.  The snow was so pretty!  It was all sparkly under the moon light.  The air was nice an crisp and not windy.  It was alright for -7. I loved it!!

Again I'm sore from working out Tongue but I guess I'm building muscule. Huh  I would love to get my back decompressed.  Problem is its probably not cover under OHIP which means its not free. Embarrassed Tongue Sad

Did an S&D last night, hubby trimmed some uneven hairs for me, not even an inch worth.  I've been having fewer and fewer split ends, which is great!

I do hope I am not boring anyone with my story, its a long one but I hope its good!  Right now I'm working on another one about a knight and a bellydance during the Cursades. Cool

Bye for now! Wink

Dear Hair Diary,

Hennaed my left hand last night.  I'm still all wrapped up so this post maybe a bit sloppy. Tongue
Oh man.... I got another invite from my SIL for a party...this time its a adult/kiddy party. Embarrassed  I find myself in a pickle as we do not have kids and everytime we do one of these the mothers (no dad's show up) make me feel like crap.  They don't say anything, it just in the way they look at me......  So I think I will not go.  Also why subject my hubby to a henhouse? Poor thing....
On other fronts I got an answer from that Ebay seller. He has only mailed out my item last week. ... I order it October 30th. Lord forbid if the shoe was on the other foot!  He would be screaming refund.

My neck and back are feeling better today, thank god!...

Bye for now!

Dear Hair Diary,

I did my heat cap yesterday and my hair came out like silk!...  What I did was leave in a teaspoon of Ojon overnight then in the morning I put in the coconut milk and spent an hour under the heat cap.

Lastnight I watched a doctumery on the human trafficking of women as sex slaves. It was upsetting to say the least but what really pissed me off was the pimps were women! WTF! And these people get away with it!  Courts don't care and the cops are on the take....  In the country they talked most about I know human slavery was always popluar and has never stopped.  Should I blame the men who can't keep it in there pants or the money hungrey pimps? ...

Grrrrr...Sigh... whew! Lips Sealed

Anyway I'am off! Smiley

The blame list could go on and on...the pimps, the customers, the girls, their families, the government, etc. etc. etc. Sick how these things perpetuate, isn't it?

I think I saw that documentary.  It angered me as well, especially since the police don't do anything about it. Angry  Those people have absolutely no conscience, it's amazing!

I saw a cool picture the other day that made me want to put henna designs on my whole body.  Unfortunately, I've never done henna body art before, so I wouldn't have the skill to do it nicely.  BTW, why were you wrapped up?  Does that have to do with the henna application?

Dear Hair Dairy,

Latley I've been feeling such a burk not having a bellydance instructor. Undecided  I do like doing it at home with DVD's.  The one thing I do not like about going to a class would be, besides the fact it cost alot and the only studio is 85 miles away, is that I am a bit shy and that I do not want to pick up bad habits from lazy dancers.  I've been told its a really bad idea not to have an instructor, that makes me feel crappy.  I've been trying to get the local ladies gym, of which I use to go to, to get bellydancing but with no avail.  My hubby said I'm doing something right, I lost weight and am flexable and graceful.

I know, I'm whinnng...  But I am proud of my accomplishments and try each day to improve myself.  I just feel a bit left out sometimes.  But that's me, the loner....

Henna is neat!  Wrapping it and leaving it overnight helps the dye release to be much stronger.  Your body heat helps it along.  I learned mostly from The Henna page and from my East Indian friends.  I found my own drawing and painting skills helped, but I was clumsy at first.    Now I can do it with both right and left hands.  I would love to do my whole body too!  I once saw a model with a tiger stripe motif all over her and I loved it! Cheesy

The tiger stripes sound pretty cool!  The design I saw was more of a floral scroll type design.  I'm really inspired now and am going to try it.  Not my whole body, but just my hand to practice.  Gotta start somewhere, right? Cheesy  I'm gonna check out the henna page.

Sure, I'll let you know.  I was looking around on the internet last night, and would like to know your thoughts about the henna that comes pre mixed in a tube (like paint)?  It seems like the easiest route to take, but I don't know much about this stuff.

I have tried pre-mixed tubes before and they are not really great.  The thing is you don't know how old they are or what's in them.  It's best to get fresh henna and make a mix at home.  Place henna powder (body art henna not henna for hair) in a bowl and add suger about a tablespoon to half a cup of henna powder and enought lemon juice so when you mix it its the texture of mash potatoes.  Then mix really and cover and keep in a warm place over night.  The next day the dye should have released, you will see brown crust on the edges on the henna past.  Then put into cones.  You can either do your henna right then or you can freeze the cones and the extra henna.  It has to be frozen as the dye will not stain if its kept out or in the frig. Cool

Yeah, the fact that I don't know whats in them is really what I was concerned about.  Mixing body art henna sounds very similar to mixing it for the hair, I can do that. Cheesy  Thanks for helping me out!

I'm still on my loose 10 more pounds quest. Tongue  Now I know why people get tummy tucks, its so hard to get rid of a belly.  All I can say is at least I have the boobs to balance it out sum. Undecided

I'm geting my Secert Santa together and should be mailing it this week. Smiley

Anyway I'm off! Cool
