Dear Hair Diary,

Oiled my hair on Sunday.  I'm still using the poo bar and my hair doesn't get dirty as fast, this is good!  Been practing braiding.  I made up a mist of Rosemary, Horsetail and Sage, very strong and have been misting once a day.  Sad news, I might be loosing my internet account soon. Cry  My provider is being a pain.  Not to worry I'll find another one.

Bye for now

Dear Hair Diary,

My hair is still enjoying the poo bar. Bought a bunch of VO5 Oasis CO, they smell great and would like to try them but I will finish the poo bar first.  I've been doing the sock bun and loving it!  The weather has been really hot so this style helps a great deal.  I noticed when I scratch my scalp I get a little white powder under my nails, perhaps it's just dead skin???  I read once that people exfoliate there scaples, maybe I need to?  I ordered a twisty towel off e-bay and can't wait for it to arrive!!  After working in the beauty biz all those years I am getting back to using naturel face and body care.  I picked up some Kissmyface stuff and will get more.  I use to use Racheal Perry makeup and will be going back to it as well.  I ran into someone from my old job and she took one look at me and said OMG!  your hair is BROWN!   I laughed, you see for over six years I dyed my hair and no one had ever seen my real hair color.  It has been black, red, blonde and ....blue!!  My old co-worker had a fried blonde mess on her head that looked a lot like Anna Nicole.  Ahh those days are gone, no more dying or drowning in hairspray or blow drying!

It's great to be FREE!!!

Bye for now  Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

I did a deep co treatment yesterday.  I use mayo, avocado and honey.  The weather's been so hot that the mixture kept drooling down my neck!  I kept it on for and hour and a half then rinsed and shampooed. Hair felt great! 8)
I usually braid my hair for bed but the other night I tryed a bun but found it made me sweat something awful!  Been working on a pair of willow hairstix.  I got the branches from a tree on my property.

Bye for now   Cheesy

Lisabelle, will you post pictures of your willow hair sticks when you're finished? This sounds like such a wonderful project. Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

While in the shower today I tryed a CO wash.  It worked out great to my surprise Grin My hair is so soft, even the ends that still have dye in them!  Amazing!  I used VO5 Oasis with Lavender and Chamomile.  I also found out what the white powder was on my scalp, I was not rinsing enough.  I made sure I rinsed very well with the CO wash this time.

Cheers Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

It been so hot lately but thankfully it rained yesterday. What a down pour!  Shocked I ran outside in my bathing suit and enjoyed!!!  8) My hair was in a french braid and I though oh no I'm going to have a major tangle when I take it out.  Ah not so!  I took out the braid and put my hair in the new twist towel I just got and it was fine!  I picked up some Alberto CO last night while shopping.  I got strawberries and cream. My hair likes the CO wash method.  When I was using the Danbur shampoo I noticed I had to wash every three days.  With the CO wash I can go a week, same thing for the poo bar as well.  I just don't know if the CO will take out my oil treatments? ???  We shall see!

Cheers!!!!  8)

Dear Hair Diary,

I just tryed a coconut milk soak I saw on LHC.  Wow, it was great ! My hair is so soft that I know hubby will be playing with it all night Roll Eyes My hair feels well nourished and healthy. I found that I had to wash twice to get the milk out.  I rinsed in the shower and now my skin is so soft as well!  Great treatment! This is what you do:  get a can of coconut milk and apply to dry hair (warning this is messy)  cover with heat cap and leave for about an hour or so.  Then rinse, shampoo and CO.  I followed mine with a ACV rinse.  Glorious!!!

Bye for now!  8)

Dear Hair Diary,

Been doing CO wash about once a week now, no greasies!  Grin I made a new leave in mist for my hair.  I got the recepie from another board: it has rainwater, vegetable glycerin rosemary EO and sweet almond oil. It made my hair very soft and helps with the dry ends. I am not experimenting with amounts added to the water.  I started with 2 cups of rainwater to 1/4 tsp glycerin and almond oil to 5 drops of Lavender CO. (I don't have any rosmary co).  So fair so good!

Dear Hair Diary,

Went to Zeller's last night to get my perscription. Saw lots of indian ladies with great hair! Found some White Rain CO to try, also bought a new wide toothed comb from Goody and a hair clip.  Looked for Biotin vitamin with no luck Undecided I have been using my horsetail as a tea for my hair instead of a mist.  The neat thing is that it has no taste so it's easy to drink. 8)  I saw my fav cabbie the other day, (he's been taking me to my doctor appointments for years now)  he has long salt and pepper hair about BSL, I remember when it was black with a few grey streaks. He kinda looks like Getty Lee from Rush. His hair looked great and I told him.  He smiled and said he been too busy to get it cut.  I said NO! don't cut it! When he dropped me off I gave him a black hair scunchie with his tip.  He pulled off his baseball cap and removed the old worn hairband he had in and put in the scunchie.  I was thrilled that he took it and didn't get all macho Grin  Ahhh.. Canadian men are sooo cool!!

Dear Hair Diary,

Last night I went to the Bulk Barn to get some bird seed.  The BB has lots of vitamins so I looked for Biotin and found it! Grin  Hubby went into overprotective mode and wanted to know what Biotin was.  After reading the bottle he was happy, I explained it was for my hair but you know now thye have to read the bottle Grin  Found the neatest thing at Pet Value, Matrin rabbit food for adult bunnies!  My bunny is 12 years old and still quite spry! I wonder what he would think if  he knew he was getting seniors chow? Roll Eyes

Bye for now! Grin

Dear Hair Dairy,

I have decided to stop doing CO washes.  My hair, though soft, has become lack luster.  My MIL noticed this today when I went to her house.  She said it looked over conditoned and since my hair is thin I'm back to shampoo.  So when I got home I washed with my Danbur shampoo diluted with water, then CO with my usual. I then ACV rinsed and followed with a ice cold rinse.  Now my hair is back to shiny and feels alot lighter too.  Live and learn! Roll Eyes

Bye for now Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

Got my new Mastex heat cap yesterday and gave it a whirl.  Grin I used amala oil as the treatment. My hair came out great (thought not a great thing to do on a hot day) Tongue  Been playing with different do's and drooling at some really neat stuff on the net.  Would love to try Camelli oil on my hair.

It's Canada day and hubby had to work (good, he's in the dog house right now Angry )

Bye for now Kiss

Dear Hair Diary,

It's been very humid lately making my hair all fizzy. Been using Emu oil to help with the frizz and not braiding my hair all the way to the ends.  Tongue    Since I'm back to poo my hair has more red highlights, at least what I have noticed.  I've been working on my hairsticks and have made about six of the japanese style ones.

bye for now Wink

Dear Hair Diary,

The other night I tried EVOO and loved it!  I bunned up my hair and slept with it.  I changed my pillow cases so they would not get ruined.  Wow my hair just drank the oil up!  I expected a greasy mess but no.  In the morning I washed, COed and ACVed.  May hair really loved this treatment!!  We went to Carabram yesterday and had lots of fun!  Carabram is my towns mulicultural festival.  They have pavillions set up at highschools around the neighborhood featuring food, dance, shopping and history of different countries around the world.  This year we have The Caribbean, Croatia, Germany,Hawaii, Holland, India, Ireland, Macedonia, Philippines, Poland and the Ukraine.  I have the Caribbean and Poland across the street from me!  I went to the Caribbean and bought a handmade hair buckle made from a gourd!

We had lots of fun and will be going to Hawaii and Macedonia later today.

Bye for now!  Grin
