Dear Hair Diary,

Put my hair in a scarf bun today, it's a little greasy so tomorrow I will do my CO wash.  The scarf bun was great as I was invited to give my friends new puppy a bath.  I used Natures Gate, cause my friend did not have any doggie shampoo. The puppy came out clean and fluffy.  Grin

...

What a cute fella!  He's name is Alfie and he's a 7 week old St Bernard.
I'm so happy the Kris Cringle is on!  I already have started to gather up stuff  Roll Eyes

Bye for now Wink

Dear Hair Diary,

Today is day light savings time and I forgot, so its 5:30 in the morning...ahhh!  Got myself some new natures gate condish, this time i got the orginal fromula.  It's dark and smells like mrryh, I cannot wait to try it!  The puppy is being very nippy as puppies are.  He grabbed me by my hair yesterday! There was no damage just slobber.  Must pin up hair around puppy!

And now for this weeks Hair Hunters Gatherings:

Over the last few years, men’s hair products have taken a steady rise along with skin care.  I find it funny that men will only use the haircolor with a picture of a guy on it.  Though, men’s hair color is a little different then ladies, it’s much stronger to color the thick hair of beards and moustaches.  And it lasts longer, but still, damages the hair and makes it look so fake.  I interviewed the men in my building and only one out of four dye their hair.  Their ages rang from 42 to 50, one is divorced, and the others are bachelors.  They all have salt and pepper hair, save for the one who dyes it black.  The oldest, has a hairstyle in a Beatles type mop he cuts once a year.  Other wise he wears a hat most of the time.  The gentleman who dyes his hair has a “jarhead” cut that he gels.  The others are balding but don’t seem to mind.  And of course my hubby, who has recently gone back to shaving his head.  He says he loves the look and it makes him feel strong.  He says always use a sharp razor and to wear a hat in the cold weather.  I’m pondering my father’s day, when men used Brill cream and hair tonics and went to the barber for a shave.  So, perhaps things really haven’t changed in the men’s hair care industry.  Sure, there's better hair replacement and fancier products.  But the trends are the same, hair or the lack of it is still defiantly on a mans mind.
Till next time!  Grin

You're welcome, Lisabelle! Oh, that's such a cute animation!  Cheesy

I like reading these weekly columns by you. Keep up the good work!

You wrote that your hubby went back to shaving his head. Does this mean that he's decided not to grow it out anymore?  ???

*clears throat* Attention, ladies and gentlemen, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard has now entered the building.  (just kidding  Grin) Looking back at the pic you posted in August, yep, the bald look suits him.

Mmm, sticky rice and beans sounds pretty good right about now. Happy

Great jack-o-lanterns!!  And such a cute pup.  Haha I never thought of using people-shampoo on animals but it makes sense.  I would think that it's gentler than the stuff they make for pets.

Cynde Thanks!  Now my pumpkins are out in the rain and getting washed away! LOL! I've got to try your Hello Kitty next year!
I use to have a ferret and found that doggie shampoo gave him skin problems.  So, I used a human herbal shampoo and he was just fine.  8)
