Dear Hair Diary,

The other night we went shopping and I picked up some Jason aloe vera shampoo.  I was having a bit of a problem with the Nartures Gate I was using, it seemed to strong for my hair.  Well....oh my lord, Jason shampoo was awesome!  Super shiney hair that feels and looks great. I got up this morning and sat at my mirror and just went Wow!!  Looks like I have a new favorite!! Though I do not think the Jason will remove heavy treaments, I will use it for regular washes and keep the natures gate for the heavy treatment washes.  Mail man will be here soon... I wonder if he's got anything for me??  Grin

bye for now!

Dear Hair Diary,

Last week I got my secret santa!  (details in the Secret Santa link).  And it came on the best day cause I was not feeling too great and it really cheered me up! Thanks again Moonchild!...

I thought I'd try a CWC and my hair seemed to like it so far, I did it on friday.  I've been saving up some stuff for my hair hunters gatherings so I should have something to report on fairly soon.   X-mass tree is up and Hubby and I started our pre-holidays house cleaning.

bye for now!...

Dear Hair Diary,

I have been feeling a bit better, thanks ladies.  Holiday money stress really stinks.  Today I trimmed my hair!  What I did was take a scrunchie and make a pony tail.  Then slide it down to the end and cut about 1/2 inch off. I saw these instructions somewhere.. I forget were though.  Then I had the hair minion even it up for me.  My x-mass dress up plan has fallen threw.  My in-laws are wierd and hubby is afraid they will make me upset.  I opted to were my kimono for newyears when we go to Tokyo Yaki for dinner. I rather do that as his family is not opened minded at all.

bye for now

Cry That's sad. At least you can wear your kimono on New Years.

Nonetheless, I hope that you and your family will enjoy the Christmas season.  Smiley And I am wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year  Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

X-mass day rain made my hair go nuts!  I think my hair needs cones as the curls are becoming more frizzy.  I use to use a slicone serum to keep the curls in check.  I'm just worried it will not be healthy for my hair ???  I have a friend with curly red irish hair and if there were no cone products she would shave her head bald!  I guess I have been down playing my curls.

Chirstmas was fun, I got some hairsticks with hearts on them and some ouchless bands from hubby. We got a Japanese dinner plate set for two and the usual candy and stuff from Mum.  Hubby got me a Zen clock http://www.now-zen.com/cgi-bin/orders/shop.pl?ACTION=ENTER+SHOP&thispage=zencloc...  I got the one with the Wave in maple.  It's really cute and chimes so sweetly! among other things, I got hubby a HeadBlade.  Its a speical shaver for baldies!

I do hope everyone had a good Holiday and will have a happy new year and a Great Hair Year! May the hair fairies bless us all with  good growth and shine!!

Dear Hair Diary,

I thought up a new neat way to put my hair to bed while still maintaining the curl.  I put the hair into a high pony tail, not too tight. I spritz with lavender or rose water then I divide the ponytail in two and roll with soft rollers, the white none plastic ones that twist together.  I find this easy to sleep on and still have curly ends!

bye for now! 8)

Dear Hair diary,

On the hair front:  I bought some Jason Aloe condis the other day and tryed it. Wow hair is really soft!  I have just did my monthly deep treatment with the cap and my hair and scalp are happy!  I have also fallen in love with baking soda washes.  I mix it with cheapo SDM cond, wash, rinse then put my regular cond in.  I just love it! I do this as my second wash as I wash twice a week.

On other fronts: It my 17th wedding anniversary today!  (We also celebrate in August as well for our second wedding at the Ren Fest.)  I'm looking out the window and it's snowing just like that day...we ran off and eloped, we were only kids them...ah memories!

Anyway I hope everyone has a
Happy New Year!!
