Poor Lisabelle.

I could definitely recommend a great plumber! I live with one!  Grin  If only you lived closer. No doubt he could fix the prob in 2 seconds.
    Here's hoping that your pipes are back up & running soon!

I get rashes on the back of my neck from chemical burn. Like when my skin doesn't like a particular product. I had this problem a lot while using Herbal Essences.
    Curél's fragrance-free lotion works wonders on just such a rash!  Wink

CurlyGirl, I wish I could get a plumber in here as I have to wash my hair tomorrow! Angry

Juri, I used and old silk shirt and I have tried using hankercheif's.  It looks really easy but it took me alot of time to do.  Here are some really nice intstructional video's in japanese.   http://www.tourism.metro.tokyo.jp/english/tra/goods04.html#13 the video's are like a little class with the master! Grin

Angel Spun, I wish I did live closer! The plumbing is really scary in my building.  Under my bathroom rug I have a stain on the floor that looks like the ring from the movie Ringu! Shocked That is where the water build up from the tub and leaks down to the second floor. This house is over 150 years old and the landlord is the cheapest person in the world! He keeps blowing me off about it, the toad!  Angry I use Aveeno for the rash.  I got some more last night (thank gods).

Juri  I would love to have her long black hair.  I was dying my hair black for some time.  I wonder, is that her own hair?

Ack, I totally forgot about this! Sorry about that, Lisabelle. Anyways, that's a good question. While it would be really cool if that was Gong Li's hair, she probably had extentions. I was trying to find photos of her, but couldn't find any of her with mega long hair.

Thanks for the link! I was watching some of the vids and some of the designs are really amazing! Actually, are you on Immortal Geisha's forum? I was looking at the kanzashi thread and some of them looked extremely familiar. I'm not a member yet, but I lurk there. Happy

Juri Not to worry, I miss stuff too! Grin  I gathered Gong Li was wearing hair extens but you never know!  Yes I am on Immortal Geisha forum.  My name there is Maiko.  You must have seen my Tama Kanzashi's!  I also posted a pic of two obijime my friend made for me.  It's a good board, I just joined, they have a great book list for studying about Geisha and Maiko Grin  I'm reading "Women of the Pleasure Quarters" right now and it's a great, informative read! 8)

Moonchild, yes finnally he came!  My landlord was in a mood cause the pumblers truck had broken down and he had to drive the plumber to the house.  I washed my hair today and was able to rinse it properly!  Those flower hair clips are a hoot to make!  It takes a while to get the hang of it and then your away! I kind of wish that was actually Gong Li's hair, but considering how much abuse actors' hair must go through, I can't imagine an actress being able to have super long hair for very long.

Yes, I saw the tama kanzashi! I thought, "Hey, those 'sticks look really familiar!" And then the part about trying to get the comb set examined made me realize that was you. I agree, the Immortal Geisha board is really interesting. I've been visitng pretty much everyday for the past couple of weeks. Happy;;

Juri, you should join up!  I would love to see you there.  Grin I remember going to that page years ago, I wasn't on the forum but I would check for new info and reviews. Did you see the obijime my friend made for me that I posted there?  It took me forever to get those from him, he also owe's me a Tamari ball as well. Roll Eyes

Thanks, Lisabelle! I was thinking about joining, but at the time I didn't want to look like I was cyber-stalking you. Roll Eyes  I went back to look at the obijime and they look really neat! They kinda remind me of the friendship bracelets I used to make in elementary school (probably because of the way they were constructed).

Could you post a pic of the tamari ball when/if you get it? I've seen pictures of them in the internet, and although I've thought about making one, I don't think I have the patience. hahaha

Onee san, arigatou! Perhaps "cyber-stalking" was too strong of a word, but I thought it might look weird if you joined and then I suddenly showed up. ^^;;

I don't know if you've seen this site, but Temarikai.com has instructions on how to make temari balls and loads of pictures of the ones other people made. I can't believe how intricate some of the designs are.
