I don't know if you've seen this site, but Temarikai.com has instructions on how to make temari balls and loads of pictures of the ones other people made. I can't believe how intricate some of the designs are. [/quote]

I am so honored to be called older sister!... Thank you for the link!  I love Temari balls and will try to give it a go once pay day comes around for hubby!

Dear Hair Dairy,

I have been working on doing the geisha hairstyle, I got it right once and that was it!  I know it would have sayed better if I used a wax in it, I tryed to compentate that by doing my hair when it's dirty.

Haven't been oiling my hair very much and its starting to get dry, so I did a emu oil leave in with Anias's butter and that helped alot!  New sleeping cap is doing great!  No more mess in the morning!

I have been collecting and making stuff for the Winter exchange, soon I'll have it all together and send it out.

bye for now Cheesy

Cheesy   o^_^o

Yeek, the idea of putting wax on hair is a little scary. I wonder how geisha and miko can shampoo it out when they're getting their hair restyled. >_<

Dear Hair Diary,

Hair's been behaving which is good.  Thing is it's color, I notice that the top of my head is brown, the length red and, of course due to hair dyes, is black.  I'm just wondering were the red came from?? Strange.  Anyway my Winter exchange box is ready to go!

Oh geez, I bought another romance novel Embarrassed  I don't know why I read these things sometimes.  I do some writing myself but these books are way to "out there" in the story lines.  I try to make my own stories a bit more believe able.

Bye for now! 8)

Curlygirl, Oh gee I love them too!  I had a aunt who was really addicted to them.  She would get box loads of harliquin romance and others.  Sometime I feel silly reading them, I don't know...

Dear Hiar Diary,

Hair - Hair's been acting alright, I've been sick and keeping my hair up.  My hair has semed to settle with Jason shampoo and condish which has me very happy!

Other - I am still reading "Tale of Genji"  A lot of ladies on another board I visit blast the book as smutty.  Unfortunately for them they do not understand the history of the time period and are placing modern values on the story. Being a student of Japanese history, I tend to look deeper into the history myself  before making a quick decision, mind you I also think some people are not in touch with reality.  Roll Eyes Oh well, they can think what they want.

bye for now

I'm not very familiar with Japanese culture.  Are the bows made of paper?  It looks very interesting!
