Dear Hair Diary,

Hair:  I've been practing the Heian/Feudal look and had made another "Takenaga"
... This one was mounted on a Goody hair cuff painted white. I would like to find out what paper is acutllay used for this hair tie, perhaps Washi paper?  I have to do more reseach.

Other:  I've been feeling sick lately, the new multi-vitamin I'm taking is reaking havoc with my bowel movements.  I think the vitamin is too strong for my system Undecided.  We did Valentine's Day today and hubby got me three red roses, my favoirte skin cream, a silk hair buckle, a tin of chocolates and some make up and skin care samples.  what sweetie, he really cheered me up! What a lovey his is  Smiley

Lisabelle,
Are you taking your multi-vit with food?  I find that if I take a vitamin after eating 1/3 of my meal I don't have digestion problems that I get if I don't eat enough or if I take the vitamin after the meal.

Good luck!  I'm glad you had such a sweet V-day!

Yes, vitamins with food will prevent the yucky tummy.  I've also found that taking my supplements at noon instead of in the morning helps me to digest them easier.

I give the second attempt two thumbs up! It looks a lot closer to the example the SCA lady (Kugepoet?) posted at IG. (Yep, I'm still lurking at that site)

Bikerbraid, Sakina  No, I was not taking the vitamin with any food Tongue  there are Swiss Natural Source Adult Multi One fomula with Ester C and Lutein and Lycopene.  I have stopped taking them as they make all elimiations bright yellow as well Tongue My tummy has not cleared up yet, could be stomach flu?

Juri chan  Domo arigato gozaimashita! Wow! I'am so happy you like it! ^ 0 ^!   I wish I knew how to tie a real one, it must be like origami or something. Must hit the books!... But first I'm off to make hubby his Valentines cookies! Cheesy He also likes the idea that women give men candy in Japan for Valentines.

Well, I'm definately more interested in Japanese pop culture, so I think it's really neat that you're researching and trying to emulate traditional styles. Plus, I didn't even think about what sort of hairties Japanese people used waaaay back when until I read your posts on IG. Smiley

Juri chan  Nope, he doesn't know about White day yet! Grin  I love history and old stuff!  I am going to try to make a Kosode via the instructions on kugepoet's web page.  I was silly enough to think I could buy a medevil kimono like that, mind you you never know what's on ebay Cheesy

LOL! Well, make sure you enlighten him about White Day. Happy

Since people well samurai armor and saddles on eBay, I wouldn't be too surprised if someone sold a medieval kimono or a reproduction of one sometime in the future. Smiley

I told him about White Day and he thought it was cool!
There such neat things on e-bay! I once saw Yori armor for 30,000 U.S. All I could do was sigh...

Dear Hair Diary,

My hairs seemed to have settled in on the washing routine I have now and this is great! Wash every three days: wed wash with Life brand Condish and baking soda, Sat wash with Jason shampoo and condish.  I also have leaned how not to over oil my hair that took a while but now I've got it right!

I'm still working on the kosode, what a battle.  I have never put a collar in anything before and this has proved to be a bit scary. Embarrassed But I shall Sally forth! Smiley

Here a pic of bunny eating soba noodles, what a ham!
