Dear Hair Diary,

Hair's been up and covered in a scarf today as I am on my cooking and making things jig!  I have chinese buns rising and have worked on my Kosode! The eri (collar) is on!  Yesterday was bad, my left hip gave out and I had to take it easy. I'm making up for it today!  Sunday is my birthday party at Mum's, I think I will were kimono.  I just have to see how I'm feeling.  I got a birthday present for a lady I use to work with in cosmetics.  She unloaded a ton of perfume and skin care on me! Brands like Chanel, Biotherm, Vichy and Dermaglow.  I was very greatful as, all though these things are given to the sales ladies are free, they are really a money saver.  Colin got some colonge (Boss) and some skin care for men. She was so happy to see me and loved how long my hair had gotten.  Her's was pretty long too!  I gave her some tips like jojoba oil (she has African/Canadian hair) I made up a pot of Anais's butter and gave it to her for her hair, we had a great time!
Anyway I'm off to steam my chinese buns!

bye for now! Wink

and here are the buns!
...
Yummy! Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

Holy smokes it cold today! Shocked  We've got -14c.  Needless to say I've got bunny on my lap and the heater turned up!  Yesterday I had fun at Mum's.  My neice gave me a cute card for my b-day along with some potted herbs.  Mum gave me a food chopper from Pamper Chef.  I got more practice with nappying (diapering) my neice   she is so good! She just lays there and is so still! I was lucky, I didn't ge the poopy nappy this time. Today I was going to go to the libaray but not in this cold!! Hubby broke out the Arctic coats and said to give it a try out there, no way Jose! Tongue

bye for now! Roll Eyes

Dear Hair Diary,

And now more news on the hair front.  I gave myself a two inch chop! Shocked  My hair needed it bad, the ends were so fried and covered with black dye.  Now the dye is gone! When hubby got home he even it out and said I did a good job and that it looks a whole lot better!!  I was struggling with this cut but now my hair feels so much better.  I'am happy I did it! Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

My hair is so thick after the chop. I am having trouble braiding it.  Its a lot more heathly looking then before.  Just getting use to it is a pain.. Hubby loves it btw!

I fixed my kosode and should have pictures soon.  I've been hitting the books on Japanese history lately, lots to learn Wink

Dear Hair Diary

Hairs been acting fine since the chop.  I find a loose Alice band is what I'm wearing most of the time along with a high ponytail.  French braids don't stay in anymore.

Working on my diet is such a drag.  I need to loss 30lbs Tongue Bought the Goblet of Fire last night and had a little Harry Potter party!

I got a cutting board and a new pair of sissors, of which will help with my sewing.  I need to make another kosode.  This one:
...
is just about done.  I had to alter the sleeves a bit and I noticed on was not sewn properly Embarrassed Hence it will be underware for the next one, of which will be a yellow!  I asked my mother-in-law via email to make me the pants that go with it.  If she doesn't then I will give it a stab (hope she does, I've never made pants before!)

bye for now! Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

Holy smokes! It's 4:30 in the morning!  I just was woken up by two raccoons fighing in the backyard.  I have one very scared bunny trembling on my lap.  Ah, no rest for the wicked.  Was sick all day yesterday, missed the chat as well...  My nieghboor was very drunk and nagged my hubby to get him beer at 11:30 lastnight.  It took a lot of convencing to tell him the Beer Store was shut. Tongue

Curlygirl64, Bikerbraid, Thanks, I am feeling better now.  Oh that was a bad weekend Tongue  I think I slept 12 hours?  Hubby got me earplugs so if any critters were fighting in the yard I never heard them!  Bunny missed me so much that he left the living room rug and inched his way across slippery floors to the bedroom, got on the rug and made the 3 foot jump onto the bed!  That a feat for a 13 year old bunny!  He then sat and washed my face.  Hubby wished he had a video camera to capture the event!
