Yeah! Thing is the site sight is mostly young boys, and some can be a little nasty to newbies.  But I have had no problems and have learned a great deal more then I already knew about bonsai....

You will just have to teach those boys some manners and patience!  (Hmmm, isn't bonsai growing a patience hobby??)  Glad you are learning something and enjoying your little tree.

Dear Hair Diary,

Hairs been doing fine.  I got some Jason Biotin shampoo this time as my Aloe Vera one ran out.  I was worried that it might not produce the same effect but it was wonderfull.

My Bonsai is doing great, it growing and servived a rainy night well.  I bought some soil to do my house plants.  I give them a top dresing every year.

Now I shall rant, I am sorry but this is really bugging me:
In a nut shell I went to Superpet yesterday to get some stuff for my pets and my friends dog.  With a full handbasket of over 100 bucks worth of pets toys I went to the small animal dept to see the bunnies.  Now I have owned rabbits for more the 15 years so I know how to handle them.  The rabbits are kept in a open cage thing in the middle of the floor.  I put down my basket and picked up a cute white bunny.  There were two childern there and I held him for them to pet, there father was greatful as there was NO salesperson to help them and they were interested.  Just as I put the bunny back the sales girl came up to me and told me off for not handling them properly.  She was very rude, did not offer any help and up set the other customer with the kids.  I told her I know my rabbits thank you and were were you when these people needed help??  She said would Never sell me any pets and stormed off to the staff room.  I told her that not only do I know your boss ( of which I do)  but I refuse to shop here again and put down my basket called her something I rather not say here and left.  Buy the time we were half way out of the parking lot I was in tears. Cry  Cow!  All my years in retail and I never, ever treated a customer like that!  God some people are so mean. Cry  Hubby was good at calming me, bless him.  I was more upset that she thought I had hurt the little baby bunny and annonced it to the whole store.  Sigh...

Bye for now

OMG, Lisabelle, that's horrible!! (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))

I wonder what it was that she thought you did to harm the rabbit? Perhaps she isn't very skilled at handling them herself. Maybe she was just PMS-ing. Who knows.  ???  People get really weird when it comes to animals.

Terrible customer "service" on her end. She should have known better than to raise her voice and draw unwanted attention to a situation that clearly didn't need it. If she was so passionate about the rabbits, perhaps she should have been keeping a better eye on them, hmmm? Then maybe she would have noticed the guy & his kids.

The world is full of ignorant punks. I know it's hard, but just try not to let it ruin your day. That would be letting them win. It's difficult to function when you've been publically humiliated like that...but it will blow over, I promise.
If it helps, you may want to talk to her supervisor (since you know him). He might just have a talk with her so such a thing doesn't happen again. Or maybe she won't work there long. *shrug*

In any case, shop somewhere else for awhile if it will make you feel better. Change is good, right? And try not to give that [whatever you called her] anymore thought than she deserves.

I'll pray for the waters to settle for you.

If it makes you feel better and makes you smile,I don't even know you personally but have this "sixth sense" about you and I would let you hold my bunny in a heartbeat without any worries!  I can't believe some people.  I would have told her to take her head out of her behind and grow up!!!  Don't mean to be alittle crude, but some people just are sooooo ignorant!
Don't let her stupidity get to you!!

Oh my gods, what horrible customer service. There is no excuse for treating a customer that way, no matter how bad a person's day. (((hugs)))

My word!  Whatever happened to customer service? Even if you had mishandled the bunny (and I KNOW you didn't), if the bunnies are in an open area, they are inviting people to handle them!

You really do need to speak to the manager about how that salesperson treated you - it was very unprofessional and uncalled for.  Sheesh!

I hope this week goes better for you - and remember - we all know you are a loving, caring person.

Robin, Trisha  Thank you so much! Cheesy  You guys are so great! I was really hurt. I thought I was a monster or something. ... I have talked to her boss, Steven, and he's letting her go! He was really pissed off as this was not the frist time she has been nasty and she is always late too.  Well, now I can go in there without having any trouble.  Thank gods. Smiley

SEEE!!!  We all knew you were right!  I'm glad you talked to the supervisor.  Although he probably shouldn't have told you he was firing her - I know it feels good to know that action has been taken.
