It is a relief to know that she's gone.  Steven has worked in retail for 30 years and he too says customer service has gone to the dogs. Sad

I wouldn't say customer service has gone to the dogs.  Dogs are wonderful, loving animals!  They would do ANYTHING to please their master.

I'd tend to say that the American society has become very selfish and "ME" oriented.  There is less respect for others shown.   Tongue  (Of course this is not true of the members here at LongLocks!  Grin)

True, I will leave the poor doggies out of it! Grin  It's the same here in Canada, me, me, me, hell with everyone else.. eeek! Makes me just want to shop on-line.  When I go to Home Depot I use the self serve teller, not to say the people at HD have ever gave me or hubby trouble before.  I like checking out my own stuff.  There use to be a supermarket like that too once.

Wow. I'm glad it was resolved. Geeze.
But, it's true. Customer service needs to be a high priority. My boss drills us about "our first priority is customer service"

Same for me at my old job, god help us if we were ever rude to customer!  I've seen people fired for less.

Dear Hair Diary,

My hips been given me trouble so I haven't washed my hair since Tuesday.  I am suprised its not all gross Roll Eyes  Today I will wash it and oil it.  I have a new way of putting up my hair that is really cool. I put a soft scrunhi in and make a pony tail then I invert it in my hair, make a pocket and tuck it in. It looks really nice and helps protect the ends.  I got the idea from the hair lock.

My bonsai is going good.  had to run out in the middle of the night to save it from a down pour! Hubby came with me and took a huge flash light!  My downstairs neigbor K thinks I'm going to kill the bonsai.  My hubby has a few choice words for him I wold rather not post here.   We both know a bit about bonsai so we should do okay (fingers crossed)

I recieved more e-bay stuff.  Got my obi tia, its a belt that keeps the obi looking stiff.  I got some really neat Japanese makeup, it a clear base used to keep makeup looking moist.  I tryed it and it was great! No dryed out cakey look.  It is use by Geisha and Maiko to keep there white makeup from looking pasty.  Oh wow I got some Geisha perfume and whoa this stuff is so nice, very intimate scent, not for the office!  I tryed some and spoke to the men in my building down in the lobby.  They were acting really strange!  Finnally T asked me what perfume I was wearing!  I had them in a stir! Roll Eyes  i dont know the name of the perfume as i cannot read Japanese yet.  If anyone wants to get some PM me and I tell you were I got it.

Here's a Waka I wrote last night while on the chat:

The song of a flute
carries throught the summer air.
Across the moonlit
garden of silver shadows
I look beyond my screen for him

Now I'm just groving to Guns and Roses and soon it shower time!

bye for now 8)

Dear Hair Diary,

Gah! its 4:45 in the morning!  Well I'm up.  Went to bed early out of sheer boredom.  One of my e-bay purchases was Matsumo Uguisu no Fun : Nightingale Droppings.  Comes in a small  pink contanier.   You mix a teaspoon full with a drop of water and make a paste.  You put it on your face (keep it away from eyes, mouth and from under your nose.  Leave the mask on for 1/2 hour and rinse.  I found it makes skin brighter and absorbes exces oil.  I know others have found it smelly but I only noted a faint musty smell. Uguisu no Fun was and is still used by geisha and kabuki actors to make there skin look fawless.  I have now added it to my skin care regime and will give updates as I go along.
I also perchases a Jizo budda, of which has not come yet. Jizo protects travels and childern.  For me he is very speical as he also protects children who have died.  I will put him with my other budda in the window shine I have in my living room.
I did a emu oil and coconut oil leave in the other day and my hair is so soft!

bye for now

Thank you Juri chan!  My hip is alright, it has it moments of pain but not so bad that aspirin will not handle it.I'am going to go back to the Dr. in July for a pap test Tongue and will ask him to check my hip out again.

You're welcome, Lisabelle 'nee san! Glad to hear your hip is okay (for the most part). In the mean time, I hope it doesn't give you too much trouble.

Dear Hair Dairy,

Hubby and I have been so sick!  We caught an evil bug and have been living in the washroom for two days.  I'm starting to feel better and he will be better in a day or so.  Man I would not have wished this on a dog.  My poor hair was full of oils from a pretreatment and it made me feel worst.

bye for now

Egad, poor Lisabelle!!

*splits my chicken soup with you*

I hate it when hair treatments leave my hair all oily and disgusting...even worse when they don't wash out!  Tongue

Hope you feel better soon!
