Dear Hair Diary,

I got my kanzashi yesterday!  I think it made of bakelite.  It is so pretty! check it out -

...

My hair is in its messy updo phase. I've been trying different styles like half up with a bun and half up with a french twist. Gee, I haven't put up a hair photo in a while!

On other fronts, has anyone tryed Benafiber here?  I've been using the chewables and they work but they make me feel a little sick.

Anyway it 6:30 and hubby will be up soon!

Bye for now!

Ooh, cool messy updo. How did you do it? I've been trying to find a messy updo that will actually work for me.

Cool kanzashi too.  Grin

Bikerbraid, Angel Thank you so much!  The trick to the messy updo is...no mirror!  I left the front and gathered the back into a french roll then took the front of which was parted and pulled it back and clipped it in place. Cheesy

Dear Hair Diary,

Last night we had a BBQ with the tenats in my building. It was a total pig out! We had three wild salmons, raviloi, rice and shrimp, salad, topped off with beer, wine, green tea, brownies, butter tarts and ice cream. We were stuffed!  All this between four guys and me!  I think I still have indigestion!  Boy, they just ate and ate.  Hubby had trouble keeping up!  I was full after the pasta course.  We had fun and only K got a little drunk.  T and M were just eating like no tomorrow. Roll Eyes  Guys eh?  LOL!!

And now for the rant!  We're going to see Colin's mum today as she going to the UK for a wedding.  So we thought we would see her off plus get the Ren Fest chemise she made for  me to sell on e-bay (hey it sold!)  Well guess what?  My sister-in-law calls and wants us to babysit as she has a date with some creep!  The last creep she dated (these guys come from an dating place)  started to call her and make trouble.  So now were stuck there to god know when!  Thing is they live over 50 miles away and I rather be doing something else. Angry

On a happier note I purchased a peach wood comb off e-bay!  I can't wait to get it. It was more economical then a Boxwood comb and I got it in a the widetooth style.  I have my sand paper all ready to smooth it out!

bye for now!

Congrats on the sale for the chemise!!  I just got a note from e-bay that my Satin Sox did not sell.  No surprise though.  If after 1 day on the auction block you have no bids, your item won't sell.  I knew after day 1 it would not sell at auction so now I put it up for sale and leave it alone and not bother.  At least I have a variety to choose from now to protect my hair when I sleep!!!  lol
Anywho, sounds like you had a great time last night, good for you!!
Can't wait to hear about the comb!  I got a bamboo comb off e-bay and I use it more than I do Ric's comb!   Go figure!

I'll tell ya all about it when it arrives! Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

Yawn....eeek it's 5.24 in the morning!  I've really been noticing the benifits of my hair routine.  The Jason shampoos are awesome!  And I cannot live without jojoba oil.  I knew it would take time for my hair to recover from many years of killing it.

I got this really funky hair compliment the other day.  I was joking with my neighbor about buying his autographed Matts Sundin hockey jersey.  I said I would by it from him and he said."Even if you where to cut you gorgeous hair and sold it, it still would not be enough"  I was like whoa where did that come from! Shocked Roll Eyes

Colin and I celebrate our 18th wedding anniversey tomorrow!  Time to get out my purple kimono as were going for Japanese food at our favorite place!

Bye for now!
