Dear Hair Diary,

I did a deep treatment with heat cap yesterday.  I found I was all out of coconut milk! Embarrassed  So I used coconut oil instead.  Wow it worked well!  I thought I would wind up greasy.

On other fronts the reno is done so were slowly moving back in.  I spent yesterday cleaning the mess that man made. Angry Today Mum comes home from England and we are to get here at the termial at 1:00.

Bikerbraid:  I love your new avatar.  You hair reminds me of a princess from long ago.  What a great inspiration! 8)

Bye for now! 8)

Dear Hair Diary,

Dispite the humid weather my hairs acting okay. Mum got home alright and all.  She brought us all back stuff from the UK, mostly for my neice.  Got an ocotopus clip Tongue, mind you it is smooth and all.  I took out my sock bun and put the clip the on. I then but the sock bun in my neices hair. Did she look ever cute!!  Doing hair on a two year old is always a challange!

On another note...something horrid happened when I got home.  I was walking into the building when I bumped into my nieghbor  K and his cigarette.... I got burned on the left breast!
Embarrassed God did I cry...I quickly got upstairs and put ice on it, one shirt ruined and one new bra dead... I put burn medication on it and a bandage.  It looks nasty this morning, I changed the dressing.  Hubby was really pissed at K and so am I.

bye for now Embarrassed Cry

Ouch!!  I'm sorry that you got burned by someone's else's disgusting habit! Angry  Yes I can talk, because I used to smoke many moons ago!(started at 10,quite when I was 22)coming up on a 19 year anniversary for being smoke free and I hate it when someone else gets hurt because of their selfish gross habit!  I hope your burn is feeling better and you don't scar.  The bra and shirt can be replaced, but your breast......I just hope you heal quick Smiley

Oh, Lisabelle!!  I'm clutching my chest as I read your post-ow!  Straight lavender essential oil heals burns without scarring.  It also helps to reduce the pain of the burn.

Tisserand was working in his lab when he caught fire to his arm.  He ran over to a vat of water and plunged in.  Turns out what he thought was water was lavender essential oil.  He healed completely, no scars.

I've been burned on the neck and badly on a finger, I'm scar free from using the lavender.

I hope you're pain free soon-perhaps you should deduct the cost of a new bra from your rent?  I don't know if that'd get you into trouble but I think you should be compensated.  Men have no idea how expensive a bra can be!!

Feel better!!!

Curlgirl, Sakina:

Thank you so much.  I hope no one will ever have to go through this!  I put on the lavender oil and I soaked some on a bandage and applyed it.  God, it's right on the nipple skin Embarrassed  I wish I could sue K.  I believe Colin ripped him a new one so to speak. Roll Eyes  I use to smoke myself, quite in 1987.  You know, I think I am going to hit up K for money for a new bra!  Thank you for your support ladies your the best! Grin

OH MY!!!   Shocked That is horrible.  "K" should offer to buy you a new blouse and bra, and be forever in your debt for burning you.  I hope you heal OK, both physically and emotionally.

Oh, my gosh Lisabelle, I'm sorry to hear about you getting burned.  Some people are so rude, you'd think he would've offered to pay for the damage without you having to ask.

On another note, I like your messy up do pic .  I do messy up do's all the time but mine are actually a mess Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

Weather's been so damp and yucky here.  I've been using the octopus clip mum got me from England. It does hold my little bun well, I ust have to be careful of the metal parts.

Burn update;  I;ve been using the lavender oil and keeping the bandage on.  The burn has turned a ugly shade of purple! and is still tender.  K gave me some money for a new bra!  He was all sad and apologetic (yeah, he got a big mean Swed in his face!) Colin dosen't yell or scream...he had a look that would scare the pants off King Kong though!! LOL!!  Ah Vikings.... Roll Eyes

I've been taking a generic form of my medication and it making me so sleepy! Tongue  I should get use to it in about a week (bugger!)

You know, I think this flat is haunted.  My favorte hand mirror is gone missing, my computer screen died for 20 mins last night, the lights have been flickering and going strange...I cannot wait to move back to my flat!

bye for now! Roll Eyes

Egad, Lisabelle, what an embarrassing burn! Sorry for the delayed reaction - I've been out for a few days and only had the chance to read about it just now. Yikes!

One more reason why smoking should be banned.  Tongue  Hope the burn heals quickly and doesn't leave a nasty scar. Your neighbour should kick down for a new blouse as well!

OK, I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but you know how sometimes something silly pops into your head at the WRONG time?  As I am re-reading some of the posts regarding your burn and K replacing your bra, I have the visual of the Will & Grace episode where Grace's water bra springs a leak and is squirting water all over the art gallery.  Lisabelle, if you had been wearing a water bra, you could have put out his cigarette and prevented the burn!  Lips Sealed  (I'll go crawl back into my corner now.)
